Kovalev: I'm still in shape, only at 183 lb right now!

    a lot of these guys drained down to SMW and LHW for years because there was no glamour at CW(unfortinate as it's always been an underrated division) but it's heating up a bit and many have decided to move up for that as well as the toll cutting weight takes on their bodies.

    Maxim Vlasov fought as low as Middleweight... He has two competitive losses to Ramirez and Chilemba, but now after to moving up to CW he's emerged as a dark horse in the division. Even the very chinny Sillah has showed some promise there(albeit in losing effort) Beterbiev isn't going to get any big fights at LHW, he had great success in the amateurs at HW. He should really move up as well.

    Kovalev can come back, he beat SOB in the first fight by decision and won by disqualification in the rematch, but Bob Bennett refused to even review the video or look at the still pictures of the blows to the testicles...........Bob Bennett also lied about Rigo, plus he picked Byrd as the damned referee, said that this was the first bad decision she has ever made, which is a damned lie! Byrd has been corrupt for years!

    I think Beterbiev might be in luck soon, he's likely to join Top Rank, who are known for getting their fighters decent fights to build them up. Plus Ward, Kovalev, and Stevenson are old and going to retire soon. When that happens the new crowd of any of Beterbiev, Gvozdyk, Bivol, Jack, Alvarez and others etc. are going to take over and I reckon they will be willing to fight each other.

    If Beterbiev was going to move up he should've have joined the WBSS ... but I'm not sure he would've got in seeing that even Glowacki missed out.

    the problem with Kovalev is people will be going for his body now. And he might take another guys punch there better and after a few fights people will forget it-maybe. They will always sort of work his body. I want to see him vs. Stevenson.

    Im telling you dude, the guy spars heavyweights in the gym and gets the best of most of them. He literally tries to stop everybody he spars with.
    You can tell he comes from some type of kickboxing background though. He doesnt throw conventional boxing combos.
