HELLLLLLL no. He ain't getting past the first Charlo. Let's AVATAR to make this fun. My reasoning for picking Charlo to beat Lubin is the same reasoning for Charlo destroying Saunders. So I can rub it in your face, **** you and your upsets!!! Was DDLH/Caballero an upset? Even if it was it wasn't that massive of an upset. Don't know who Rojas or Marrera are either so no credit from me .

 

I think Charlo would beat Saunders, but it wouldn't be easy... In England he might get shafted.

 

I think the most likely outcome is a clear competitive fight for Charlo, but a breakout performance is what I'd hope for. Main reason I said Charlo would destroy Saunders is to trigger @CST80.

 

I think it should be clear by now that Saunders close fights have more to do with his style/mentality than any lack of ability. I mean, for ****s sake... There's a clear gap between the likes of Ryder(who's a bit underrated), Akavov and then the likes of Monroe Jr, Lee and Eubank Jr. Saunders fights to the level of his opponent. Anyone... Be it high level domestic, European or world is going to be close on the cards with him! Charlo by 116-112 isn't unlikely... In England Charlo might lose that controversially on the cards though.

 

In spots Saunders looked brilliant against Eubank. The first half he made him look stupid, but then again Eubank is crude. He clearly is quite slick and technical. You don't think stamina might be an issue?
Yeah, I don't want to see the fight in England. But I do hope Charlo makes a statement like Spence did and stops him, though I do think Saunders is tough.

 

I was just thinking the winner picks the avatar of the losers for a week. If you have something else in mind, I'm cool with that too.

 

Also, since you made all these upset picks, I'm going to one up you by picking Rigo over Loma. It's fair to say Rigo/Loma is a bigger upset due to weight classes over Pac/Horn and Chocolatito/Thai guy right? I'd actually favor Loma over Rigo at the same weight class at this point of Rigo's career, but I need this upset win. We can avatar bet that one too.

 

BJS isn't liked well enough to get English judges. The Monroe fight had neutral judges.
