I am operating on the assumption of the rematch happening next September after GBP ages GGG another year and lets the dumb casuals forget about the **** they pulled.

GGG ideally would fight BJS in January and win then face Jacobs in a rematch in May right around the time of Cucknelo's next fight/cherrypick. only issue is whether the IBF enforces their mandatory, they tend to not these things drag on.

Rematch in September and retire. Although he did say recently he wants to keep going until 40.

 

Golovkin looks a bit more Russian. Shumenov is a good example of the mixed Euroasian kazakh. Kostya Tszyu is of a similar origin to GGG (Russian and Korean) but in his case a bit of Mongolian. I'd say he looks more Asiatic than Golovkin. There are Lappoids in Scandinavia and many native Russians who don't look all that different from Golovkin.

triple g is still looking for a real fight. in his mind when he has to chase you around the ring all night, you've already admitted defeat. notice most times when he takes a good shot he's like 'ok, you hit me, wanna fight now?' unfortunately, it's unlikely there'll be someone with the talent and courage to give him what he considers an actual fight in this era at 160. he just wants to know what he's made of. it's too bad Froch chickened out.
