I'll believe it when I see it, but yes a definite step-up for Wilder.

If the Ortiz of the Jennings/Thompson fights shows up then this will be a sure fire episode of my favourite sitcom "Shattered Glass".

I honestly never thought this would happen but I give Wilder kudos for finally stepping up and he couldn't of picked a more dangerous opponent, other than Joshua. He's taking a very big risk here for relatively little financial reward considering neither of them are big draws.

I give Wilder a decent shot at out boxing Ortiz, he does have attributes that will make Ortiz look bad.

Wilder can't pull out of this fight like the Povetkin fight. He has almost 200,000 haters on Twitter and if he pulls out again it will only get worse.

I would say this is a far safer fight than the Povetkin one though, which he would of almost definitely lost.

Indeed. Many rate Whyte as a top10 HW, and when you compare his showing against Allen to that of Ortiz', Ortiz is at least a class above.

Yep. Whyte top 10. Ortiz top 5. Tbh Whyte is only top 10 because the division is lacking in depth.

Division was looking strong with Joshua, Fury, Wlad and Povetkin. Half of them are gone now. What a difference two years makes.

Chuck Norris you just broke Batmans heart!

Wilder is a terrible champ and terrible person and I want Ortiz to wreck him.

I got Ortiz stopping him mid-rounds, assuming he hasn't declined too much. Wilder has too many defensive lapses and bad habits that can't be changed.
