But Eubank isn't at 160 now, he is at 168, and unlikely to come back down when he has got mega fights like GG lined up in the near future.

The rematch is imperative. Seems a lot of the hardened Golovfans are against it for fear he'll lose convincingly.

True boxing fans should be demanding the rematch.

no way. that was not being carried. he tried his hardest to stop him. Fact is he threw no body punches because he was missing the head punches and was getting frustrated why he couldn't land. Had he landed to the head I bet he would have tried more body punches.

Eubank is in the Super series at 168, he isn't fighting anyone at 160 in the near future

How has Canelo been handed everything on a silver platter? Sometimes what appears as a handout turns out to have required a lot of sweat and blood and personal sacrifice to achieve.

For example, some people say that they wish they could play the guitar like Segovia Chet Atkins or some other great guitarist. But are they willing to put in all the constant fanatical time and effort? Usually the answer is no.

In the case of the guitar it is a matter of mostly physically painless practice and study. But in boxing pain is the norm and the potential damage done to the brain and other body organs is taken as a given. Are most people willing to subject themselves to those dangers-which includes the danger of winding up in a coma, paralyzed or dead? The answer is no. Not exactly what I would call a silver platter. Not by a long-shot.

I guess in your opinion ggg is just totally washed up and a shell of his former self.
He needs to sign with bjs.
If he was going 100 on canelo then bjs is tapping that ass!

you underestimate Canelo. Canelo is a very good fighter.. He was fighting a guy who was too big for him and still landed more clean and landed more consistently, yet in spurts. GGG was coming forward more consistently but not landing.

You musta thought the lara fight was a masterpiece. Lara not only hit canelo at will he made him miss and got under or around and hit him all night. out threw and outlanded canelo all night.

If all ggg did was land his jab....not counting any other shots....he won. Canelo needs to learn better ring generalship and needs more stamina. Needs to lose that unecessary bulk. Really effects his stamina.
