Billy Joe's little boy versus Amir Khan would be a better fight.
    Undercard fight.

They will have to negotiate the rules.
The kid will agree to target either his nuts or his chin, that's Khan's choice.
(Khan's wife will be hoping it's the nuts, and that's probably Amir's best bet too)

Thing is when Canelo fought Khan and Golovkin fought Brook I swear I remember Saunders absolutely hammering Canelo and Golovkin and to be fair I agreed, I wasn't overly impressed by either fight when they were made.

Both ended up entertaining me but I wanted Golovkin Vs Canelo, yes we finally got it but I didn't want to see the other two fights to begin with... anyway

After all those insults in Kugan interviews (if my memory is correct) BJS mentions Khan as a possible opponent, basically calls him out, completely embarrassing.

BJS v Khan isn't a big fight. Neither of them sell out arenas over here.

    My point exactly.

Look at Khan's numbers when he has cam back over here. Shocking.

Billy has to go full heel to sell his fights, and even then they don't sell out.

He only called out Khan for the publicity and to get you talking, Khan wont fight him, so that fight is already dead in the water.

Canelo isn't fighting until May and Billy said in an ideal world he would have another fight before GGG/Canelo winner, but he will go again in December and if that person happens to be keen then he will do it.

GGG wants to fight in December but I highly doubt he will risk a fight with Saunders.

TBH I think both Canelo and GGG are so overrated it ain't funny, Jacobs beat GGG but got robbed too.
GGG is having huge weight issues at 160 and looks like a holocaust victim at weigh ins, he is also ageing by the day. I personally think GGG would get out boxed by the much faster and younger Saunders, GGG's old legs don't have the stamina left to catch him even though we all know Saunders will fade GGG can't do 12 hard rounds either.

Love him or hate him Bill signed the fight with GGG last time but GGG ducked him!!! It isn't even debatable it happened.

I personally think GGG will try and get a Cotto pay day in December and if it doesn't come through he will wait out for the Canelo rematch.

Why does GGG get all these free passes? #allthebelts but too scared to fight Billy Joe????

This is the british forum surely you would support your own in this one???? Back Bill ffs

Not really, if he were to take the BJS fight and win then he holds a title at MW the weight division that Kell will be fighting at (Brook says he wants Cotto). It then gives Khan the leverage in negotiations with Brook and ensures he gets the bigger split. If it somehow helps get the fight arranged then im all for it.

GGG would murder BJS, BJS is talented yes but to me he is a LMW not a natural MW, he would lack the power to get any respect from GGG and he would walk right thro him and stop him under 8.

Both GGG and Canelo destroy Saunders. I was a big supporter of Saunders. My previous post history I constantly stated my opinion that Saunders beats Canelo.

Last 12 months has caused me to change my opinion, Saunders has dropped off big time. That exquisite KD of Andy Lee is a distant memory.

GGG, Canelo, Jacobs, Eubank, Charlo all beat him at MW.

Disagree whole heartedly, Bill can make 154 as well as GGG, ie in his dreams.

Ffs he has put on a bit of weight since the fight with Jr and its not all bad weight either. Billy is quite muscular now, he has filled out and now is a very big 160lber.

Billy has weaknesses in his game but there are huge flaws in GGG and Canelo's game too.

GGG is so slow these days, let's be honest Billy has got much quicker feet than Jacobs and Canelo and equally as good hand speed. Billy has the technique to go jab for jab and beat GGG. He's also mentally strong and physically strong enough to out hustle GGG in the clinch.
GGG needs to reset to get his work off and Billy can take advantage, GGG is also a very poor inside fighter and a sucker for an upper cut, he also has decreased stamina, he can't fight hard for 12 rounds now.

Canelo is a counter puncher and has heavy slow feet, he looks poor against movers. He's also a midget and relatively small for the weight. Canelo has a 50p gas tank, he will never walk Bill down.

^How can you say Canelo has a poor gas tank? He didn't tire at all against Golovkin and pulled off a cracking final round. Billy ALWAYS fades in fights. He always has done. We were unable to really detect whether or not Ingle has improved his conditioning because Monroe completely shat it and barely did anything.

    I'm with @james5000

We've actually got a world level skilled fighter in BJS but he doesn't appear to be rated by fellow brits. There were people saying that Monroe is a classy operator and could beat BJS but he had him in his pocket. I know Monroe was negative but Saunders isn't easy to hit, and when you miss him you get countered so fighters are gonna think twice before throwing a shot.

If Saunders doesn't fight in December then I think many people on here will be proved right that he's not world level. However, if he follows Ingle's orders and stays in camp and fights again this year, then I think he'll have finally grown up and we'll see a very dangerous BJS.

Canelo showed he has more than enough stamina in the fight vs GGG. Saunders has never fought at that pace and I don't think he ever could without getting totally exhausted by 7 rounds.

Nor does he have the power to keep people off him. Sure Canelo didn't have the power to stop GGG from marching forward but who does? He probably does hit harder than Saunders though based on what I've seen.

You couldn't have put it better, it's a slimy move to fleece the public again. I wouldn't be surprised if Warren the weasel is thinking about putting it on box office.
