being an aggressor counts for something, because its a combat sport.

but great defence has great value too.

 

It's a bad strategy if you're an up-and-comer fighter looking to make a name for yourself.

But once you've made it to the top, but are still being avoided by other stars because you wreck everybody you fight, while being from a shithole backward country, it's a wonderful strategy to fatten your bank account (and your trainer's) while giving the illusion you want to win.

It prevents from hurting other cash cows and allows two way scoring by keeping the rounds close.

So, in that last case, it's a fail-safe strategy leading to sure untold riches.

 

If crowd noise was influencing this fight, they would have scored it for Canelo. As was stated before and during the fight, this was a pro Canelo crowd. Your entire argument falls apart right there. The only time he didn't get considerably more crowd support was when the decision was read. And how about you go back and score round 7? Because if you don't give that round to GGG your a useless troll. And if you do, then you should understand that the only reason this fight was a draw was because Don Trella is the only person in the building that gave that round to Canelo.

 

Defense should always take priority over aggression.

i gave him round 7. I scored the fight 7-5 and as I've stated, I haven no problem or if someone had their card 7-5 in favor of Golovkin cuz it was a close fight. Canelo didn't win 10 rounds and GGG didn't win 8 or 9. Especially since he gave away the first 3(and possibly 4)and 3 of the last 5. I'm at least happy you didn't try to use compubox as a reason to why Golovkin won cuz I think by now we all should know compubox is and has always been bull****

First lesson my dad ever taught me in boxing is this. Aggressors win rounds. And yea if you're the aggressor and you're landing. You win the fight.

That's boxing. It's how it should go.
