Saunders will be a very interesting match actually. I think he steamrolls Cotto into oblivion, but then again I thought Martinez would have steamrolled him as well so who knows.
For sure Saunders... they would both make a lot of money... it would be a nice fight for Los Angeles, New York, London, or even in Kazakhstan. Saunders in December/January. ANother fight in May (maybe a mandatory) and then rematch Canelo in September or 2018. Finish off at Super MW with a huge fight with Groves in England. Super busy schedule for ggg but if he wants to finish on a good run that's a good schedule. He will make money all the way through...
Love to see golovkin beat Saunders and I think that will be his next fight.got my doubts about he rematch coming off tbh as I don't think canelo will want anymore to do with golovkin.if he fights him he will have to go toe to toe with him which is why the excuses will come out.
Saunders is a good fight and a shot at that last belt, but please don't put old small Cotto in there with GGG. I'd like to see Cotto enjoy retirement healthy. He's had enough wars already.
I'm so torn here, I really hate Cotto's guts, I find him to be a despicable repellant human being who preys on the injured and infirmed, and if they're not cripples beforehand, he makes sure to add every stipulation humanly possible to make sure they come into the ring in an impaired state. I'd take tremendous pleasure in seeing Golovkin disembowel him quickly and embarrassingly and send him scurrying off into retirement in humiliating fashion, although I'd prefer a long drawn out brutalization a la Margarito. That being said, I'm not that much of a sadist, so deep down the idea of this match being made is almost too evil for even me. The match against BJS freaks me out though, I'm a big fan of both, and wouldn't know who to root for, and I've long said Saunders has the style to give GGG issues, and I can guarantee he's as durable and elusive as Canelo, if it takes place in the UK, fairly or not, I can see GGG taking his first L, and I can almost guarantee the only GGG fan who'd be fine with that happening (fairly) is me.
Injury free Sergio brutally knocks out Cotto. His leg was gone before the bell rang. Roach even admitted to it in some post-fight interviews when he said he wanted Cotto to make Sergio move because of the rumours about his leg.
