Why is Lubin fighting Charlo?!?!?!

    I didn't realize he was fighting Charlo soon. When I heard Trout/Lara/Charlo all on the same card I thought they'd all be fighting complete bum/pushovers.

    Why are they facing two undefeateds against each other this early in their career?

    Don't get me wrong, I love this fight. I just am curious as to why?

    They both have promising futures IMO. Is this a sign that the "0" is losing importance and guys are giving up on being the next "Mayweather"?

    Should be decent fight though.

    Lubin doesn't carry anywhere close to the same hype that Duckvonta Davis and Errol Spence. No one knows who Lubin is. There's no financially-motivated reason to protect Lubin or match him tough. TBF, Charlo has yet to fight a name.

    He's the mandatory, so either Charlo fights him or gives up his title.

    Lubin believes in himself, thinks he can beat the lil Charlo.

    Didn't realize he was the mandatory. Good for the WBC for not allowing Charlo to fight guys who are clearly there to lose!

    He was getting outboxed by Jackson and Vanes, it's not going to take a name to beat Charlo. I don't know too much about Lubin but I hope he's the guy.

    My only thing is that I think Lubin could be beaten by his lack of experience. He is still very young, only 22 or so.

    Well funny enough Charlo been asking the same question actually but I presume he's his mandatory?
    Can't say I know anything about him,I marvel at these guys with unlimited boxing knowledge,Shawn Newton on YouTube going on about how he wished there were some Japanese boxing channels with English sub titles lol cause of the amazing talent over in Japan,I'm like wowzers I must be a real casual lol.

    Well I totally agree and I see a lot of folk denying this just cause they wish it were not so but that's just not being real is it?
    That there are PEDs n boxing and so many ridiculous decisions points to corruption and these judges must be making a fortune,here's a rucksack full of Benjamins now go do your worst,its gotten predictable and what's worse is how nobody wants to admit it so they put it down to ineptitude lol
