Thank you for trusting your eyes. You don't need a sponsored announcer or punch statics to call the fight just call what you believe unless you are CJ ROSS OR Nat Bird....LOL
He's right. Assistant mod is an absolute moron and mma fan who tries to act like he knows boxing. He will be happy I acknowledge him today.
What were the majority of media scores? If they were mostly 115-113, then surely you can admit that a draw is plausible for their scorecards since GGG didn't exactly dominate from 4-9 you dumb **** lol. He won a couple clear rounds, but some of them were debatable. Are we counting Steve Kim and Dougie Fisher as media? Are we claiming the media doesn't have a bias? Why should I be worried about a small minority, when Canelo is clearly getting unfair treatment by a far larger amount of posters like yourself, and there will be blood? I had GGG winning, picked him to win, but I'm not mad with the draw. Even CST picked GGG to destroy Canelo and had it a draw, and we know how much both of us despise being wrong on picks, and will favor the guy we pick.
No need to bash? The guy started his first post saying I ended up looking like an idiot. Stop taking sides. If someone starts talking **** to me, I'm not going to just take up the backside.
https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/ggg-canelo-media-scorecards-compubox.593770/ CST did not have it a draw lmao.... He had it 116-112 Golovkin. What are you on about?
Just gone back to watch it... and... you are almost spot on. Great spot! But in fact, it is even worse than you suggest, because the total punches landed comes up with 28 seconds left as 14-8 Canelo, then it moves to 14-9 Canelo, with just 15 seconds left on the round, and GGG throws just 2 shots more with his left hand at this point, neither close to connecting (one was actually just a paw). So definitive proof the stats are BS! Again, great spot!
This is what I despise about people on this forum. People will defend others who support the same boxers as them them regardless of the situation. "Why you gotta bash someone who just insulted you?!". Glad you called him out on it at least.
Thank you. First guy to address the thread topic. The only agenda here is that they even give credit for punches this guy doesn't even land.
The trouble is at the end of a close round, the commentators will differ to the compubox stats which are right in front of them, they will often declare x had a great round on the back of it, and this undoubtedly will influence the viewer from going one way or the other.
My first instinct was a draw which is usually right, eye catching shots and good work in rounds 1,2,310,11 n 12 but try as I might I could never see a case for another round but close it was for sure and if GGG did win I only would have it by a sniff.
That is a fair point and also why I do my best to score like a judge...Thoes things can influence one to make the wrong choice Thanks again and cheers
