GGG's Punchstats were Padded

My first instinct was GGG edged it. But he wasn't winning clear rounds. There were so many close rounds during the fight. I find it funny how people are acting like there is absolutely no case for a draw, and GGG just dominated the rounds so Canelo has no case.

 

Most of the respectable posters on this board had the fight close. I had it a draw but I can see where someone could give one of those rounds to GGG and that ends up being a 2 point difference, 2 rounds becomes a 4 point difference. 118-110 -> 117-111 -> 116-112. And, I can also see how some thought Canelo won. GGG wasn't dominant. People are arguing over silly crap. Canelo is hardly getting any credit for not only fighting GGG, which many on here said he would never do, but also showing he's better technically than GGG and nullified him.

 

Maybe if they watched it with the sound off there'd see it different,had Golovkin had a knockdown or visibly hurt Canelo then fair play but Canelo more and than played his part in an excellent fight,actually credit to GGG for stopping Canelo get off in the last 30 secs of each round or else I think we'd be talking of a GGG loss.

 

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I saw a couple posts from you saying it was a draw or a draw was good, specifically the thread that was about who got robbed the worst. Maybe I'm wrong though. I had it 7-4 GGG, round 1 being an even round. 4-9 being GGG, and 11. I see a lot of people having round 1, 11, for Canelo, so it wouldn't be that big of a stretch for me.

And we know Marquez went through a sophisticated doping program and emerged as a hulked out version of himself.

He didn't personally have it a draw, which is what you originally said in the post I quoted.

 

So, what exactly was I supposed to get out of "Neither GGG/Canelo won or lost, a draw is feasible". What did he personally say here? Neither GGG/Canelo won or lost. Either way my point was someone like CST who said GGG would destroy Canelo and has a history of liking GGG more than Canelo can see that the fight was close and a draw isn't atrocious. His opinion on this matter probably holds more weight to you than mine, since I have a history of criticizing GGG more. It was a close fight and Canelo is definitely being mistreated on this forum.
