Canelo vs. Marvin Hagler, who you got?

Well the green Canelo that Floyd fought gets KOed by Hagler. But the Juiced up more experienced version that just lost to GGG and had two of the judges bought by Uncle Oscar would beat Hagler by SD.

 

Did Hagler face many elite counter-punchers with an iron chin before? Due to his overly excessive style he'll leave plenty of openings for Canelo, and Hagler usually gets up close to. A KO win for Canelo wouldn't surprise me. A more composed disciplined Hagler, working from afar beats Canelo on points.

 

No one KOs Hagler, ya hear me? No one.

Hagler outboxed most of his opponents, and he would likely do the same to Canelo. He could beat Canelo in either style, he's better in nearly every aspect of boxing.

A stoppage win for Canelo? Hagler was one of the toughest guys to knockout, ever. And Canelo is hardly a monster puncher.

Hagler stops a fatigued Canelo in the latter rounds or wins a clear decision. Canelo is not winning a war with Hagler nor is he winning a tactical match at range.

 

Whoever thinks he's knocking out The Marvelous One must be off his rocker.

If an overly aggressive Hagler gets hit with a few of those overhand rights, he's going to sleep. Even GGG is.

 

Uh, that's what he did with Thomas Hearns and I ain't seen him to go sleep. Those were full blooded right hands that landed on Marvin's head while Marvin was coming forward. He walked through all of them.

Nobody is knocking out no The Marvelous One. End of story. Only his dentist can.

 

Canelo has a couple of highlight reel KOs against chinny fighters. He's not some big puncher. He has decent power, respectable, but he's hardly some monster hitter. Hagler had one of the best chins ever, solid defense, and could take it to the body as well. The only KD he suffered was more of a pull-down. Cyclone Hart briefly hurt him, Thomas Hearns briefly stunned him...that's about it I can think of. He didn't get stunned or wobbled by The Beast's bombs.

He would not be suddenly taken out by the power of Canelo of all people

 

You must not know a whole lot about Hagler, one of the best chins if not the best chin ever. Walked through Hearns´ right hand no problem and took all of what Mugabi had and threw it back at him ten fold. Come on man you're talking crazy.

 

Hagler would make Canelo pay for his extended lunch breaks in there. And L O F*cking L at those saying Canelo KO's him.

 

If Hearns landed 3 of those shots in that round, GGG, Hagler both going to sleep. If Canelo landed 3 of those overhand rights in the same round, in the same 20 seconds both GGG and Hagler are going to sleep. If you don't know why, you've never been hit in the face before.
