Master boxers win rematches easier (Floyd-JLC, Ward-Kova) same thing happens in Nelo vs GGG2

Canelo was masterful against GGG even though he lost and what would GGG do differently? Mayweather was the king of adjustment, GGG is a masterful boxing coming forward but he`s a one trick pony.

 

especially if the fight happens next september. ggg is slipping while canelo improves leaps and bounds with every fight. and while i argue canelo has no business fighting at 160 i feel he will continue to physically grow more comfortable at the weight.

i also see all the flush punches ggg has taken in his last 3 fights catching up to him big time.

What would Canelo do different in a rematch, more like. Absolutely nothing. His stamina is not improving, unless he gets new ped doctor, and he's not developing a jab overnight to combat GGG's. He'll start strong again and run to the ropes in a rematch, with a few counters thrown to stop GGG from knocking him out cold.
The fight will be 116-114 in GGG's favour. Canelo will improve(slightly) in a rematch, GGG won't.

 

Canelo has peaked. He won’t be any better in the rematch.

 

Back to this thread topic, not all rematches are easier for the master boxer. LL vs Holyfield 2 comes to mind.
