The 90s is littered with limited guys in the top ten....Alex Garcia, Phil Jackson, Zolkin, Michael Bentt, etc.
So if you hold a belt and beat top challengers to get title fights( you do know Morrison defeated foreman who knocked out Moorer right.... for a title ) that it doesnt constitute Morrison as a TOP fighter in the 90's ? Well thats going to come as a big shock to the boxing community who actually watches boxing...lol
Ive seen all Morrisons opposition even talked to his son before his career took off little one..even sparred a guy that was beating him for 5 rnds ( yuri Vaulin) for a short period..you on the other hand still think Lennox should have been 5 inches shorter to be more effective, that sums you up the true CLOWN of this section....and i didnt mention any site but box rec to look up a boxing record, who cares what other sites there are...go hang yourself you dope...lol
The 90's also featured: Holyfield Bowe Ruddock Tua Foreman Mercer Ibeabuchi Bryd Tyson Douglas Witherspoon Williams Moorer Lewis Tucker
Lmfao you couldn't even answer the question! I'll ask again, have you memorized Tommy Morrison's complete resume Yes or No?
Wlad Kiltchko's straight down the pike right hand, one of the most powerful in the sport's history, didn't finish Joshua. Tommy's left hook ain't doing sh*t against him.
So a 41 year old Grandpa who stank the joint out for a decade is now a measuring stick ? I guess the "straight down the pipe right" did not face cannon fodder Purrity, Sanders and Brewster ? The same guy who after a handful of punches/knock down let a absolute Greenhorn off the hook because he was gassed for shid? And for the Greenhorn who could not throw a punch for halfway thru the fight because his stamina is extremely poor ? Morrison is a life threat here...........he did not have to get off the deck to defeat Foreman........and I bet my bottom dollar that that version of Foreman who fought Morrison would ko the WK version who fought AJ......
Maybe. He did have one of the best straight rights in history. It did put Joshua down though. But I see your point.
No it doesn't. It could be the strongest era ever, but if guys like Phil Jackson were sliding into the top ten then someone like Ray Austin or Calvin Brock might pull something similar.
There were loads of mediocre contenders and alphabet champions in the 1990s. Bruce Seldon was a 'world champion' FFS. Bruno, McCall, Schulz, Botha ... nevermind WBO Morrison, Bentt, Hide, Akinwande ..... Old men like Holmes and Foreman didn't even have to be in shape to get back in the rankings or win a title. They just turned up fat and joking around and cracked the rankings. Even tomato cans like Jesse Ferguson could crack the rankings. It's become the most overrated era of heavyweight boxing.
