Mick Hennessy expecting 8,000 fans on Saturday. Big increase from 3,000 earlier this week. Reckon fat Mick has been flogging them in exchange for a packet of Space raiders and a couple Fredo bars.

I Don't think he has to pretend to be a hardman or wait until security drags them off until he does his bit .

He seems confused and is smiling in the beginning until he realises the guys having a pop. Then he looses his rag.

You really think he's scared of Gollum and some fat old washed up boxer lol the guys a hardened villan. Not a pretender

Not a chance he cares about Higgins but he knows as well as anyone that even an old Botha livens him right up if he tries it.

@Unforgiven is right about Big John not really wanting it with Lennox either. It's easy to act big in a situation in which you know will never ever happen.

I.e I'd fancy being able to chin Wilder in a pub.

Don't believe that at all. If your a fighter you fight win or lose. As a kid id fight anyone and have been battered plenty cos of it (no rambo) .

None of the furies would turn down a scrap with Botha. A scrap with a gypsies is like a game of pool .

Peter or John would both murder Botha IMO. Botha was hardly a good boxer and is fat as **** now.

I never said he was frightened. I mentioned the fact he went mental AFTER any serious chance of conflict had subsided.
Yes, I believe he probably didn't know what was going on at first either, thought Higgins was having a laugh.

Well, it depends what you personally find "terrifying", doesn't it ?
Men shouting at each other doesn't quite cut it.
Unless it's a bearded one with electrical devices strapped to him shouting "Allahu Akbar" .... then I'd probably **** my pants.

Yeah, like a game of pool where Big John gouges your eye out.

He was about a million times better than Peter or John.

Well maybe i was adding a bit there. But I've never seen the guy ever loose his cool and you saw a side of him which truly revealed who he was. A nasty piece of work

Definitely. He's not to be messed with.
He seems like a decent man ... but make sure you don't cross him.

Rofl the state of Higgins. Reading a speech off prompt cards and then losing his cards.

We need more Higgins. Do the Sauerlands have any Heavyweights? We need Higgins and Kalle at the same press conference.

I will say : Francois Botha is an Afrikaner/Boer.
Surely, in the grand scheme of things, that ethnic group is as "scary" as the mythical English/Irish "gypsy".
Or are the gypsies the toughest breed on earth ?

Regardless of all that nonsense, Botha was tough. I remember he did a lot of fighting in the "K1" about 10 years ago, and he was no kickboxer really. He was fighting younger kickboxers with mostly just his boxing skills. He had a losing record but he absorbed some serious punishment and really seemed to relish a fight.

Peter Fury is 0-1 professional boxer. Maybe he's a hard man 'on the cobbles', who knows.
He's a very good character for boxing anyway. I like him.
