These punks will never give him a fair shake, if he does lose at some point they'll claim they were always right and that he was never great.

Exactly. These idiots are still trying to push his lame agenda. He also was willing to go down for Manny. He's a little gold digger himself and he's done his fair share of ducking.

He had trouble pulling the trigger because of the class of opponent. Btw how come no one wants to talk about this clown eluding he needed to not look so dominant against DJ to secure the Canelo fight.

Was G up to more theatrics this fight as well? Could that be a new option we can discuss.

Just admit a bunch of you are wwe fans and G is your John Cena.

Golovkin himself said that he is not interested in the Pacquiao fight, he is too small. Don't you ever get bored of spewing lies, scumbag?

37-0-1 (should be 38-0 though) #no blueprint baby

Andre Ward who had 120 amateur bouts and 32 pro ones, and who rarely ever gets hit because he's a ''great defensive master'' and spends half his fights either holding on like a gay octopus, ducking below waist level, stiff-arming, who virtually eliminated his opponents opportunity to catch him with counter punches during his career because he would literally dive in head first and grab a hold of them like a limpet after he'd got off with a sneaky shot of his own, has decided to hang up his gloves aged just aged 33 because his ''body can't take anymore'' lol

But GGG who is 35 years old and has been boxing longer than him, had 350 amateur fights and 38 pro ones, and gets hit way, way, way more because he's ''got no D'' and doesn't resort to all manner of illegal tactics to prevent his opponents from landing clean punches on him is still smack bang in the middle of his prime and in no way, shape or form could possibly have deteriorated or lost a step lol

No right nut. He first said he would consider fighting Manny at 154 then started calling out Floyd's name and saying Manny is too small after Manny became #48. Move along child.

A fair shake of what? Get real, GGG caliber of opposition hasn't been that great. Power punchers like himself will look like TGOAT when you match them with that kind of opposition.
Mike Tyson was the same way, looked unbeatable until you match him with real top level skill.

That's all it was vs Canelo, the caliber of opposition.
If GGG's own trainer is saying he was tentative, then that's what it is.

Why was he tentative and pulling punches? The counters coming back at him, pretty simple.
At several points in the fight Golovkin would let his hands go on Canelo on the ropes and then backoff realizing he wasn't doing much damage and was being rope a doped.
I credit Golovkin there for realizing he wasn't being effective and backing off. Golovkin realized he wasn't being effective though some in boxing like Teddy Atlas still cant see it. LOL!

Golovkin is still a B level opposition assassin, he just cant and could never do that vs better than B level opposition.
    That is reality folks!

Well obviously he must want to lure Andre Ward or Sergio Kovalev in the ring.
Steamrolling through Canelo Alvarez would not be the blueprint to get such opposition inside a ring with him.

That was Sanchez who said that, but Sanchez is known for talking BS, he should not be taken seriously. Golovkin himself said in an interview that he doesn't want to fight Pacquiao, he is too small. You just search for every opportunity to bash him you POS.

Only Golovkin fans(mostly mentally ill people) can come up with that kind of junk and still have a discussion.

I think it's a combination of aging and facing elite level competition.

You aren't as active on these boards anymore, otherwise you'd see some of the venom that's thrown his way(yes, there are also delusional fanboys who make it hard for some to like him)

Like I said... He's declined some but Canelo is a top operator who caused some trouble with his style, said this before the fight - but also noted that it's not enough to be a viable excuse in the event that he lost and that full credit would have to be given to Canelo.

Boxer-punchers don't age as well - 35(around the time where male physical decline begins) 11+ years as a pro, long amateur career. But yeah, in a sport of inches slight decline can't be a factor in diminished performances. Yeah ok. Ask Tszyu how he felt at 35.

No you just search whatever straw you can grasp on me. You're pathetic and you need to get off my nuts, literally. You just a hater that's in the background. We know gold digger G would've moved down to 154 to fight Manny just as he was willing to move down for Floyd. His trainer was doing his job and quite frankly you're a ****ing fly that can't help but stick my my ****. Find something better to do in your life other than following me around. You've never made any good points in any interaction I've had with you and quite frankly, you're a nobody on these boards or real life.

Put down catcher in the rye and get a life.
