    Ilikeboxing,

It's okay if you think that Jacobs is better than what Reggie was. We might not agree, but it's cool.

    That's not the issue.

The issue, is that you've labelled Jacobs as an A level guy, whilst you've labelled Reggie as a journeyman.

    Now you're not fooling anyone.

The reason you have labelled Reggie as a journeyman is simple. You have looked him up on BoxRec, and you've seen that he lost fights to people you're not familiar with. You've never seen most of these fighters who you've been devaluing.

Mike was elite by anyone's standards.

You cannot label the likes of Joe Calzaghe, Terrence Crawford and Mikey Garcia as being elite, and then saying that I should be ashamed of myself for labelling Mike elite.

    Slow?

    Ha!

    Another comedy paragraph.

You've gone way past cringeworthy now.

You can't even comprehend the depth of a division/quality of a fighter's opponents.

    You're hopeless.

Anyone else would either have given other options, or just offered a simple choice between yes or no.

You shouldn't need people to explain this to you.

If anything I though Jacobs stock goes up a bit after the fight..

P4P King Canelo gets a lucky draw against GGG who Jacobs fought a good close fight with...

IF Canelo and GGG are A grade Jacobs would have to be up there too..

All he had to do was to offer: Yes or no.

It looks like a 10 year old kid has asked the question.

    Ha!

Are you going to tell us why Calzaghe and Garcia are elite, but Mike wasn't?

I would say that Jacobs is a B plus level fighter. His best win his the Quillin demolition job.
Lets see how Jacobs does against Canelo, Lemiuex, Saunders, Charlo.

I attribute Jacobs success to his skill level and talent AND GGG's slow decline. Lets face it, GGG at 35 is not the same fighter as Golovkin at 30.

And yes, I will ALWAYS attribute a portion of GGG's recent opponent's success against him to GGG's advanced age as a fighter. Ward retiring at 33 speaks VOLUMES re GGG age. I mean, man, Ward took time off and still says his body is done. Imagine GGG, 38 fights in, 350 amatuer fights. Not all bodies age the same, but its so obvious that GGG looks older in the ring his body definitely doesnt have the shine it did when he fought Rubio just 3 years ago.

If Jacobs would have fought GGG after the Rubio fight, I can guarantee you that fight would not have gone 12. Lets see how good Jacobs looks at 35.

To even put MM in there with Joe Calzaghe is laughable. You don't know what the an "Elite" boxer is. You don't know what an A-Level fighter is. LOOK AT THE POLL.

    I'll try and

    spell it out for you

so you can read it better because

I know you like typing like this

    for some odd reason

ELITE GGG, Hagler, Hearns, SRL, Duran, Pacman, Super Joe, FMJ
A-Level(World Class) Nunn, MM, Jacobs, etc...
B-Level(An Iran Barkley who Toney put that clinic on and who took Nunn to a close decision) Benn knocked this mofo out. Now Benn, this guy is A-Level, kk? Reggie Johnson belongs here as well. If you think he belongs in the above bracket, that's fine. I personally think he's right here.
    C-Level(Rickie Burns, Rosado, RJJ)

They DOMINATED their respected divisions. That's all there is to it. RG is still elite, he just jumped a division to high.

They both did similarly against Golovkin so if you operate on the assumption Canelo is A level than you have to entertain the possiblilty of Jabocs being A level at least on the night he faced Golovkin.

Too bad they will not be fighting anytime soon, if ever.
