    Unless it's in Oakland and Adelaide Byrd is scoring the fight and Lawrence Cole is the referee.

    All I know is that Calzaghe was too comfortable in Cardiff and Ward was too comfortable in Oakland. I think their level of opposition is somewhat even, but Ward probably took more fights in which he wasn't favored going in.

    Between the two? Who knows, would have loved to see it.

    I think it would be similar to the Hopkins fight although more competitive. I had Calzaghe winning by 4-5 rounds and without the knockdown it would have been even wider. Volume certainly would give Ward fits, even if he managed to come away with the win it would not be easy.

    im British and i love joe but i believe ward has had the better career hes CV is much better and fought most of them in there prime but joe didn't like roy jones, Chris eubank and Hopkins were in there late 30s early 40s past their prime and would of put a better performance if they was

    Ward has the better resume.
    Prime vs prime would be a good even fight. Slightly favor Calzaghe.

    Joe C - More title defense than Ward, lineal at both 168 and 175.
    Ward - the lineal champ at 168, unified titlist at 175.

    Joe Calzaghe won all his biggest fights without the aid of corrupt judges/refs. Ward on the other hand didn't.

    Joe would also DESTROY Ward in a head to head fight even if he were a few years older.
