GGG was pulling punches to avoid KOing Canelo to set up the rematch... well probably not but its not out of the question
Only to the untrained eye and ignorant fan. He's very good at what he does, even if there's a fatal flaw in it. I'd only pick 2 or maybe 3 Middleweights to expose him though. He's a master boxer who unfortunately fights relative to whom ever is front of him.
Good boxer to you because he hasn't faced anyone of note yet. Sounds alot like GGG. When he steps up in comp he won't look good. Hell he looked bad against Monroe Jr FFS, who's not even worth talking about.
If you're ignorant of the MW division then yeah... Lee and Eubank are guys of note lol. Monroe Jr and Ryder aren't great but they're solid. As I tried explaining to you, BJS doesn't look good because of his style. Regardless if it's a high level domestic or top 10 operator. But he still gets the job done all the same. It's a fatal flaw but it will only cost him against the absolute elite of the division.
It was the movement that made him tentative and not want to over commit against a good counterpuncher. He couldn't pin Canelo down enough to go to work on him. That's why the ropes are GGG's "office". The effort exhausted both of them, though Canelo more. That's boxing.
You said this: "Anyone can look great fighting the likes of Monroe Jr" So let's have a list of people that looked "great" while fighting Monroe, other than GGG. Don't you make me think that you're a racist hatin' on dem black folks, Pimp
Anyone in the top 10 at 160 would beat Monroe Jr. going away. He's not a good fighter he's a non factor and not worth talking about. The only reason why you're trying to act like he's something is because GGG beat him that's it.
CEJ is a better fighter at 168 than he was at 160, like I said earlier if he fought BJS again he would beat the hell outta him. Lee is a decent win i'll give him that. I'm quite aware of his style but he's not that good though. GGG Canelo, Lemeiux, Jacobs, Charlo, Derevyancheko all beat him at 160.
Monroe is, according to you: "not even worth talking about" "a non factor" someone that "anyone acn look good against" "not a good fighter" He's had 24 fights. Should be easy to point out all the people that looked "great" against him. Go for it.
I'd only pick Golovkin and Jacobs to beat him without much issue, the rest he gives absolute hell even in event that he loses.
He hasn't fought any one worth a damn he did fight 2 guys with names and he lost to GGG and BJS. I know boxing and I can see that the guy has no power a questionable heart and a shaky chin. He will always lose to the top fighters in the division he won't amount to much at the end of the day and will never win a world title at 160. Boxing is full of C level guys like Monroe Jr.
Canelo fighting guys like Lara and PBF has prepared him to destroy BJS. He might pose some problems for Lemiuex because he has some short as arms and he will be able to get in and get out on him but the others I mentioned I don't see him beating them.
How can you claim that he's C-level when the only guys that have beaten him clearly are top 5 fighters? That's not C-level.
How does it prepare him for that? He lost those fights clearly, and arguably lost to Trout. Saunders style would give him fits even if he managed to win. "prepared him to destroy BJS"
