What if Ward comes out of retirement?

    He's not that old like 40 or something, he's only 33, it wouldn't surprise anyone if he came out of retirement to fight again. I mean he was already semi-retired before from 2013 to 2015...

    I don't think he will.. I never thought he loved boxing like other guys have.

    He's all about his family, he won't risk getting hurt by fighting on longer than he should. Intelligent man inside the ring and outside of it.

    I wouldn't be shocked. He is still pretty young, I'd expected the urge to get in the ring to hit him at some point. He is a top talent, I'd like him to come back but wouldn't begrudge him if he didn't.

    Ward comes back is my guess.

    I think it all comes down to money. His biggest purse led to a loss for his promoter. His only options are to continue fighting for 2 million dollar purses against tough opponents or retire.

    Let's see what happens in 2019. I coulda see him making a comeback

    I would guess that in 3 years' time, he will come back for a single huge fight and large payday.

    Huge paydays don't happen for Ward. He has a very small fan base mostly made up of judges and referees.
