Calling it now. If you didn't think Parker is exposed already, Hughie will win a clear UD against Parker. It's not that I rate Hughie that highly, Parker just isn't that good. Bump this thread when I'm right.
I think fury will win ud, but like what has already mentioned Parker should have got a new trainer he hasn't come close to irioning out his flaws he still performs like a prospect and even though hughie is just a prospect as well you can tell he will have a clear game plan in mind that should lead him to victory but I think he will have some scares along the way, I hope Parker can pull it off he's a gentleman and he will fight anyone but he needs a new trainer.
Hughie looking in good shape and if he is true about being free of injury and illness his should be the best shape he has ever been in, i dont think any of us know exactly how good Hugie is yet. I think he is good enough to keep Parker outside of range for a portion of the fight as i find Parker to be a little bit flat footed and a bit of a plodder and he can definatly win rounds here. But its what happens in the portion of the fight Parker does get himself into range cuz he will and i may call him a bit of a plodder but the rest of his work is of a very high level. I went for Parker as a prediction but im really not sure at all. Anything could happen here, could be 12-0 Fury could be KO1 to Parker. Could be a draw.
Im going with H.Fury boring decision but cant decide if it will be wide UD or controversial home cooking decision that everyone in the forum is going to call 'it could have gone either way' ...yet it always goes for the home fighter. My pick was Parker via robbery when the fight was staged in NZ btw. Not too happy with the fact that Fury faked injury to re-schedule the fight at home and get biased decision. At least Parker might have some chance to win by K.O while Fury has literally zero chance, hes featherfisted.
Unfortunately I'm also picking Fury by UD, however it won't stop me rooting very hard for Parker. If Parker did win clearly, would that change your opinion of him btw?
I see it 50:50 in the sense that Parker will either dominate fury and KO him or Parker will lose a boring UD. I don't see much of a mid ground
Thing is that Fury jumping from fighting journeymen to Parker while Parker himself had some stiff test with Takam first before going into title fight with also very green and inexperienced Ruiz Jr that also went from journeymen to title fight right away and yet i had Ruiz winning 7-5. Basically its very hard to determine the current level of H.Fury right now,he never fought anyone half decent, even a gatekeeper level of fighter.
Fury canceled the fight so he could get home town cooking in the UK, he even has his own personal referee which is against WBO rules. Their plan is to rob Parker. If I were Parker I would have canceled the fight, he is just going to get robbed. Fury will not have to fight at all, all he has to do is run and be standing at the end of the fight so his judges will give him the decision. That's what I expect to happen.................Paker needs to go for the knockout, then fire all the people around him, get a real trainer, promoter, manager and good sparring partners.............he will be cheated...............at least that's Fury's plan...............
Parker has come in too heavy, if he lands a few bombs early he'll have a chance of a KO, but I think Parker will be chasing Fury all fight and will tire in the later rounds. Fury will use his height and reach to his advantage and stick and move all fight. Fury UD
