Hughie Fury will expose Parker.

Fury will expose the judges and referee. Parker should cancel the fight, it was Fury's plan to cancel the first fight, then have the fight in UK with home cooking..........................

 

LOL Fury isn't good enough to expose anything he hasn't beaten anybody and I think he will be the 1 getting exposed in this fight.His only hope is a home town decision

 

I think Parker's current limitations are well known, Hughie won't be exposing anything we don't already know.

Question is what are Hughie's limitations. We haven't seen him fight at a high enough level to know if he has any major flaws. Maybe Parker will be the one to expose them, maybe not.

Other than Parkers speed and combinations he is very basic. As long as Hughie doesn't get blown out quickly and can get enough rounds to get Parker's timing down then I think he'll box his way to a decision. All that movement will make it hard for Parker to land in combination. The movement and variety of Hughie will frustrate Parker who is better against a stationary target.

 

Lol Parkers getting robbed, looks like the gypsy's gonna snatch that belt away. Poor Joseph will have no leverage now, when he wants a Deontay Wilder payday. Get the begging bowl out!

If this fight had happened in NZ it wouldn't even have been interesting to watch, because the vast majority of paths to victory had been cut off for Fury.
Now we have the added "close fight", "robbery" and "referee screwup" options in Fury's favor, plus home advantage with the football-like Brit fans, which suddenly makes this a very close fight on paper.

Parker has shown he can mix it up with top10/20 opponents and come out victorious. The unknown factor here is Hughie, who actually can be "exposed"

Haha I like that. I'm going to put my Parker avatar back to support Joe but my official pick will remain Fury as that's what my gut says.

 

Parker's stacking all the decks in Fury's favour and doesn't seem that concerned about it. I think he'll be in for a rude awakening on the night. Boxing's a dirty sport and you don't want to give your opponents any chance to get an unfair advantage over you. I don't think Parker understands that, and sooner or later that's going to be his downfall.

It's frustrating as hell. I'm a big Parker fan; he's one of my favourite fighters in the division, but he's setting himself up for failure in more ways than one. Picking Higgins in the Duco split, sticking with Barry, now coming to the UK where he'll likely be robbed in anything but a one-sided fight. Joe's a brilliant raw talent, athleticism to burn and an iron chin, but he's being badly mishandled and I fear he'll end up as one of those what if fighters, if not a cautionary tale of the evils of boxing when all's said and done. Parker deserves way better than that, but he needs to get some iron in his soul and split with the people he considers his friends in order to get there.

He's a nice guy, and this sport will chew him up and spit him out if he lets it.

 

I fear the same thing. I don't like the combination of factors at play here, nor the stylistic matchup. Like you I'll be rooting for Parker, but I'll be on tenterhooks the whole night.

Really hope he comes out with the win but won't be surprised if he doesn't.
