    Who did Foreman actually knock out at world level in his second career?

    Michael Moorer and that's it.

    I don't see him blowing many top fighters away to be honest.

    Ok you are right, i forgot that the knockdown punch was a short one, galento did catch him with few looping ones though.
    Plus Louis made an amateur mistake, he tried to hook with the hooker, if he tries that with Morrison he's gonna leave the ring on a stretcher

    He took punches from foreman, and nobody wanted to trade with old foreman, the man punched unbelievably hard.

    I never saw Wlad Klitschko taking punches like Morrison did against Foreman and stay on his feet.
    So Morrison has a more proven chin than Wladimir imo

    It has been said that Morrison lived a lifestyle that would have made Max Baer look like a monk in comparison! Tommy could have been very good, but he threw it all away. Louis in one.

    Louis didn't try to "hook with a hooker". Just because Louis threw hooks in the Galento fight doesn't mean he was "hooking with a hooker".

    13 times Morrison went down. 13 times! Against 6 different opponents no less and its being argued that he doesn't have a glass chin?

    By the age of 26, Louis had been down only 4 times against 3 different opponents. 90s revisionism has a firm grip on many gen x posters. The same guys who go around saying that the old timers think their generation of fighters was better than others and that they (gen x) don't. Hilarious!

    You have to question how much a punchers chance is worth against Louis.

    Louis didn't have the best chin of the lineal heavyweight champions, but he didn't exactly have the worst either.

    His record suggests that he is exactly the kind of fighter, where power alone wouldn't get you very far.

    Klitschko went down 17 times. Take 2 -- 17 TIMES. In a garbage era to boot. And didn't he get the ass whooped off him by Purrity?? . Purrity couldn't whoop the ass of Morrison :cbiggrin:

    Louis at his best knocks Tommy out in the first round. Prime Louis was a true beast of a fighter. An executioner.

    Louis has also hit the canvas a lot of times and was stunned by 175 lbs Billy Conn with who he went life and death.
    Morrison would blast Conn in few rounds
