I didn't really have much to say about this before hand, a lot of you said this would be a stinker.. you were spot on. I will say one thing, I hope people understand Parker did try and make the fight, he did try to actually fight, Fury was the negative one. I have a feeling Parker will be tarnished a little after tonight because of the actual fight but I can't blame him that much, Fury has spoiled, run and been negative throughout.
Round 11 Parker is following, clapping the right up top but getting blocked, clumsily shooting a wavy "straight" power hand shot on the body and skimming. Fury is leaning back and keeping his gloves up, and that is all it takes, otherwise letting Parker do the heavy lifting for him. Parker just giving away the round putting his all into poorly executed combos and not minding his target, missing quite badly many times in a row, huffing and puffing now. Parker with a good right-left with a minute left in the 11th, but otherwise looked as clueless as ever. Fury was the ring general for 2:50 of the round and he gets it for me again. Doesn't matter that they weren't heavy, Fury again landed several jabs and a couple rights. 9-2 Fury.
I think a Joshua fight looks completely different, I give Parker a chance in that, he can punch and Joshua won't run like this.
Im not sure why anyone expected more from Parker. He was fortunate to get the decision against Ruiz. then laboured against a last minute journeyman
People keep saying W Klitschko was boring to watch, at least he had huge power and didnt run...Hughie is like a bad version of Klitschko running and with 0 power....awful to watch
