LOL you scored some rounds poorly IMO. I just thought you were wrong and you were. Hughies your winner, youre the one that should be playing with his acne. LOL hey thats your reward for backing Hughie. Nah but seriously, Hughie has great footwork and above average boxing. I said that before the fight weeks ago and we saw that tonight, again I was correct.
you CANNOT win today at TOP level without a power threat...you guys will see this as the years go by. Hughie doesnt have a punch ...even i hit harder at age 13 maybe 14???..stop it ppl...... the best guys are or would be Tyson Fury/ Parker /Ortiz/wilder and of course Joshua.....dark horses are Povetkin and Haye, maybe wjhyte whos actuaklly a legit threat if you study footage.
A challenger shouldn't get the title in a very close fight especially if they fight the way Fury did.
On the plus side I'm rather sure Linares knocks the snot out of Campbell later so I will get some brutality tonight.
He barely got hit and landed at least 10 jabs per round. He was blocking most of Parker's punches on the ropes. 1-2 got through per round.
Outside fighting is a legitimate style of boxing. Hughie played to his strengths best he could. Should he have came out like David Tua?
He got hit solid plenty at least far more than he hit Parker solidly. Even the biased af commentators noted that. His jab hardly found its mark, he hit air a few inches in front of Parker's head. Not once did he snap Parker's head back with a jab.
hughies biggest downfall is himself and the others around him. He thought all he had to do what turn up dance and walk out a champion. The way they acted after the final bell was embarrassing. Parkers team tried to lift him up and he knew the fix might of been in. Right decision regardless of the scorecards
