Just got back from the fight also and the outcome was a complete robbery.
    8 rounds to 4 Fury
Controlled the fight, aggression doesn't win fights

Not too far away. That was mainly down to most of the arena being empty/closed. It made it easy to get served at the bar, so every cloud and all that. Will be a different story at the Crolla/Burns in a few weeks.

One thing for sure after three world title fights, Parker carries no real punching power at this level. AJ would walk through him with his uppercuts. Parker needs to decide wether to milk the belt or take the AJ payday

Tyson Fury himself could be heard giving props to Joseph Parker. After the winner was announced I forgot to add.

Because he's not special nor could ever be special. He doesn't have any of the imperative attributes for one to become special

Im beginning to see that too although I refuse to believe it. For now, I think Parker still has the power but just cant land enough power shots. Joshua and Wilders punches are more accurate so far. This sound like Im making excuses and maybe I am but Hughie isnt IMO that easy to land punches on. Heres there one second and gone the next.

I also think he also has had three fights where it’s been hard for him to look really good against.

Some may say four! Takam, Ruiz, Cojanu and now Hughie.

He clearly carries power. He just hasn't been able to land the kind of shots he was landing on Oceania and European level heavies at the world stage yet. While due his recent performances I'd favor Wilder to beat him, Parker would clearly have a good chance at landing a bomb due to all of Wilders defensive errors.

    116-112 Parker.

I had it even after 8 and gave Parker the last 4.

I get how people could have Fury ahead but seriously, if the ring ropes weren't there, there wouldn't have been a fight.

    Good result for Parker.

All that really mattered was that he left the ring with the belt & he did.

After this fight I'd still pick both Parker and Hughie to beat Wilder.
One by a clear boxing lesson, and one via a KO.

My only other comment on Parker is that he needs to drop some weight.

Needs more speed of both hand & foot to give himself a better chance of landing the heavy artillery.

Fury's difficult to look good against.

I like Joseph, he seems like a lovely guy so it's hard not to like him and in a way, even though I was supporting Fury I'm glad he won. He hasn't dodged anyone seems like he will fight anyone.
