Another horrendous night for boxing. I feel like everytime I watch a title fight there's always controversy involved. We may aswell be watching a scripted soap opera instead of some of these recent fights. I scored the fight ringside (front row) tonight and had it 8 rounds to 4 and that's being generous to Parker. I'd honestly say he landed 5-6 clean shots on Hughie all night and you can't award rounds for just walking forward. Why can't people just judge fights without corruption or bias. Sky needed Parker to win for the AJ fight and the governing bodies don't exactly like the Fury's do they... Posters on this forum are even saying it's a good decision!?!? You're all just as bad as the female judge you moaned about in the Canelo/GGG fight. I await comments from people with agendas against travellers or supporters of NZ. I guess I'm just fed up.. why can't the right man just win the fight regardless of who they are.
dude fury lost .. no way could u give him 7 rounds in that fight. if you did you don't know anything about boxing..
Please let me know the exact rounds Parker won and I'll gladly say I was wrong. I guarantee it can't be done.
Lol seen an interview with Hearn where he said Adelaide Byrd is not corrupt but she had a bad night, best bit is where he said there's no corruption in boxing but he wouldn't tell us if there was so make of that what you will lol
These people who are incapable of viewing a fight from any other perspective other than their own are boring. Just be glad the ring ropes were there or you wouldn't have seen a fight at all.
lol I had it 9-3 parker I didn't right down the rounds.. anywhere from 7-5 8-4 9-3 parker was suitable.. a draw would of been okay also cause close rounds but anything more was pushing it.
so you don't like back foot boxing? I get that. But the aggressor still needs to land punches. Boxing involves landing punches.
Such was Hughie's lack of aggression I'm not entirely sure what he was doing with his hands for 95% of the fight could be considered throwing a punch.
To be that outraged over that decision you must be related to the Fury family or Mick Hennessy. I thought it was the right result but the 118-110 cards were poor, far too wide. Fury did not do enough to win that fight.
It was one of the biggest robberies I've seen in boxing, for all those people who stumped up £15 to watch that garbage. The Fury's in comparison have no right to complain.
You can't win a fight when you don't win rounds. Moving backwards and flicking out a jab that is caught 80% of the time on your opponents gloves or just simply evaded doesn't win fights.
