I'm not prone to making outlandish comments and I'm not a sucker for conspiracy theories but there absolutely was something wrong with him. I came here expecting there to be at least a few threads on this being a fixed fight. He's a plodder but there's being slow and then there's what I saw tonight. Saying he was drugged isn't absurd when he clearly fought as though he was. Dorticos winning wouldn't have been a shock, we've seen Kudryashov waylaid in the past but not without a single ounce of effort being put forth. I'm in shock. I'm not inclined to think he was drugged but certainly something was wrong. I don't want to say he threw the fight but perhaps he had a bad camp or was sick or injured going in? Does he have any connection with the russian mafia?
He sat up looking like Soda Popinski. No shame in it- sometimes you put the other guy on your highlight reel, sometimes you get put on theirs.
Sometimes, but you don't start a fight looking like you were 'highlight reel KO'd' in the dressing room.
Nighty night Kudryashov, it sure looked like there was horse tranquiliser or something in that right of Dorticos. What we all want to know is will Kudryashov be dropping by the forum soon for his usual post-fight chat?
He did look a bit more sluggish than usual, but it wasnt so bad that it couldnt be chalked up to a normal variance. Dorticos just caught him cold with a hell of a punch IMO. It happens sometimes. If youre looking for an external factor, maybe he had a harder time making weight than normal. He usually comes down from like 220 or so and missed weight the first time out.
I just rewatched the fight and I've changed my mind. Dorticos' shots clearly had an effect, even before he was wobbled on the ropes in the second.
The Nigerian fighter might have look beastly to your civilized eyes, but to rational thinkers who look at numbers not the phenotype or nationality of the boxer... #1 Dorticos is the only undefeated boxer Kudra ever faced, undefeated boxers don't just come & cave in. #2 Dotricos came in certified as a KO artist with a higher KO ratio than Kudra himself. It was an easily predictable KO win for Dorticos
After seeing it again I agree. He also didn't start as slow as I'd thought, probably due to it being overshadowed by him fighting hurt in the second. Shame. I thought the Durodola rematch would be the making of Kudryashov. Maybe Dorticos' is just that good.
That's how he is. This always could have happened in this bout. The same thing could have happened to Doriticos (Probably spelled that wrong).
i detected a right hand/left brain problem which landed him on his posterior. damn, already had a 7-5 card filled out for him too. oh well, next white guy up.
This fight is what happens when two hard hitters cross path DK will become a world champion again by KO nothing less, some misguided Champion will come in trying to get a HL KO vs what he thought was easy prey & become the HL Remember how RJJ thought Enzo Mac was easy, this bias actually will help DK get back with an unexpected KO win, he might ended catching more Ls first & become established as HL material
Probably he's big for a cruiserweight. And perhaps during the preparation for the fight he didn't use any sports nutrition not to mention doping , because fight was in USA and he was afraid of fail a dope test.
If he was drugged it would not surprise me at all considering how corrupt boxing is today. I remember when Vlad was drugged in Vegas in the Brewster fight, I have the letter showing what happened and it was a legal letter written by Judd Berstein to the attorney gen., but since Vlad was Eastern European he could not get the damned corrupt boxing commission do to anything, Mark Ratner, the boxing commissioner, at that time, resigned! The bias is so bad in in America against Eastern European fighters they can't get a fair hearing even with facts................it did happen though, I was in touch with Team Klitschko while he was in the hospital. No punch caused a diabetic coma, which almost happened, missing water bottle, missing ID, video of someone in his dressing room, two missing blood samples, two missing urine samples, even the referee said he had never seen anything like it, Vlad was not out of gas, the problem started in the very first round! I could post the entire letter again, but it's a waste of time when you have so much hatred of Eastern European fighters..................The American boxing media really cut him down for telling the truth. Hell, we an see that HBO, Tony Weeks, Bob Bennett all allowed SOB Ward hit Kovalev in the testicles three times and instead of taking away points, or disqualifying SOB, Weeks called it a TKO! Since when does hitting your opponent in the testicles result in a TKO?! Everyone knows it's illegal, but HBO does not want you to know. Furthermore, go back and watch Bob Bennett lie about Rigo's fouls the same damned night! In that case the decision was changed, the same should have been done for Kovalev, but HBO and everyone wanted SOB to win the fight that they just lied, when Max asked SOB about the blows being a little low, well, they were very low right on the letter which was under the belt! HBO lost money trying to build up SOB's career and lost a lot of money doing it. SOB is a liar and a proven one..........................
