I havent even really seen it, I guess that qualifies it as terrible given hes had 24 fights now. When he got inside on Hughie, Hughie clinched. Needs a new trainer. Barrys done great but its time for a new trainer.

Yes Hughie clinched, but if Parker wants to be a top HW he needs to know how to punish a guy who tries to clinch him and tie him down on the inside. I was missing body shots while Parker was on the inside, he didn't throw a single uppercut neither. If Parker wants to have a chance vs. AJ or even Wilder he needs to much more effective at close range.

Big Cat Fury's fighting style reeks. He's a boring spoiler / runner.

No wonder UK TV weren't interested in televising this bout.

Parker needs to reassess where his career is heading. He dodged a bullet tonight. The Pommie officials were very fair to him but don't expect that level of generosity every time he fights.

Far from relocating from Las Vegas, I think he ought to have his next couple of serious fights there. Bryant Jennings & Andy Ruiz Jr would be a couple of tough opponents who would test him out & further develop his skills.

If he's looking to fight again between now & the end of the year, take on that WBO top 10 ranked Japanese heavy in Japan. It would be a good payday for him & a chance to start making heads hit the canvas again.

As others have mentioned, he needs to come down in weight. 245 is too high. Let's see him at 230-232 which should give him a bit of extra zip (and hopefully zap).

Truth is both Hughie and Tyson are massive stinkers and are not a draw. They run, they spoil, they are not exciting to watch.

You would be like the judge I spoke about who wouldn't get another job if you explained that kind of bias.

Who would want to fight hughie after that performance?? Jo came in with the extra 10 kilos but still managed to stay with him after hughie prepared for a marathon.

I can't think of any boxer that wants to spend 12 rounds chasing down a guy that doesn't want to fight.

I think Pulev could outbox Parker.

What are the chances of Povetkin up next? If Parker isn't going to look to a Joshua fight, Povetkin might be a good option from a financial point of view. Any thoughts?

Maybe in 2018 could Povetkin get a shot at Parker, Povetkin does have some strong financial support.
