Some of the counters Hughie threw were absolutely text book. Parker walked into his traps constantly on the ropes. That's what won Hughie the fight. I'll admit Hughies jab is poor and he didn't throw enough right hands. But he landed the more quality shots. Which makes him the winner.
Can you imagine having Malik Scott and Hughie Fury holding belts on opposite sides of the pond? Both picking their fights in front of 6000 people, being highly inactive and getting decisions over their challengers by running, trowing toothless jabs and holding with their size and reach advantage, without being able to do any (significant) damage to them... Playing boxing shouldn't be rewarded and in this case it wasn't. Fury tried to steal the title with use of his home advantage and it failed. Parker isn't good enough for world level, but at least he can do some damage and makes fights interesting. Boxing won yesterday!
