GGG fans are quick to talk about their chump getting ducked and nobody giving him opportunities in the past, why doesn't he just fight Saunders? Saunders will school him badly, he is all wrong for GGG. Saunders has blistering footwork and great length, probably the best head movement in the game. Bill is also a southpaw a real one!!!! GGG's Jab will be truly ineffective against Bill and will look like a pub brawler. Bills gas tank isn't the greatest in the world but GGG's tank is leaking, he is not capable of fighting hard for 12 rounds, he has to take rounds off. If he doesn't pressure Bill, then Bill will be capable of fighting for days. GGG of 3 years ago with a better gas tank might have caught up to Bill, but this corpse of a fighter we see here has no chance. If he's going to stay at 160 why doesn't he fight the best? Canelo is a money fight but he has exactly zero wins @ 160, how can you claim to be the best when you haven't beaten anyone?
His trying to get Cotto last i heard . This content is protected An utterly shameless move but his fanboys will say nothing and lap it up like birthday cake.
He's coming to the end of his career and looking for high profile big money fights. Saunders doesn't fit that bill unfortunately. Cotto must generate some money because he has Garcia calling him out from the lower divisions too.
Yes, I have stated previously I believe GGG will target Cotto, and if he doesn't get it he will just sit it out and wait for the rematch. I don't believe the Cotto fight would happen, but stranger things have happened. More than likely he will just kick back and balloon up and struggle even harder to make 160. I have been shouting it out here for 18 months+, GGG can't make the weight easy these days, he's boiling down and is massive at the weight, 168 is a better fit but the money is @ 160. It has only been recently that people have accepted my POV and that GGG could not ever make 154. It is funny that a lot of the things I have said in the past are now accepted as reality by most here. I also said GGG was declining 12 months ago, at that point most were saying he has never had a hard fight and he is a young 34, I said nearly 400 fights is a whole lot of wear and tear regardless of how many wars he's had. Fast forward 12 months and he still hasn't had a war, but his fans say he's too old and needs to retire????
Saunders would be a good fight.... so would Cotto. Business wise, Miguel offers more clout. This is the age of Floyd....he set the standard. Unfortunately we as fans have to accept the roadMap he created for the rest of the boxing community
if you think saunders schools GGG you should stop watching boxing because you know nothing about it lol...
He owes Jacobs a rematch. He can fight Saunders. Charlo is there. Going after Cotto is a coward move.
Saunders has skills and heart and a high fight IQ. Saunders will try every trick in the book including tricks scribbled in by his traveller ancestors like low blows, headbutting and elbowing. He is also creative with it and would do it unnoticed by the ref, Saunders might not be book smart but he is street wise. Saunders would not be a sitting duck who is intimidated, he will come to win. Saunders was born to fight. He's been fighting his whole life, like him or not Saunders is as tough as the come.
It can't have been that long ago where Saunders said himself to Eubank Jr "GGG would school the both of us on the same night"
I agree he owes Jacobs a rematch, I thought Jacobs beat him TBH, and I had GGG beating Canelo. #allofthebelts but no balls, you can't have this as a catch phrase but refuse to fight the other champion in your division!!!!!
You can't use that as an excuse to duck a bloke??? Billy was just trying to wind up Jr and at that point they were both at British level, fast forward 3 years and they are not the same fighters today, neither is GGG tbf.
