He didn't lie in an interview! Check this out:http://www.boxing-scoop.com/show_boxer.php?boxer_ID=6756. 1984-08-11 132 Pernell Whitaker 132 Los Angeles, CA USA L by AB 2 P.S. But he did lie about split decision victory in his favour over Pernell. Let's get back to that same old question. How old is Luis Ortiz? At least 48 according to Amir Mansour.
Where did Mansour say this link anyone please?? Mansour is one of my favorite fighters, it sucks Mansour could have told everyone he was 10 years younger and no one would be the wiser. Instead Mansour gets boxed out of big fights because of his age. I see why Ortiz did it, tell someone you're 5-10 years younger and it's a massive advantage. Kids from other countries playing Baseball do it all the time. Hell even UFC's Forrest Griffin Admitted he lied about his age to give him an advantage
I doubt it's the HW Luis Ortiz who fought Whitaker in the 84' Olympics, it's some other boxer with the same name. HW Ortiz may have sparred against Whitaker, but not in 84' Difference in size and complexion, fighting for Puerto Rico not Cuba.
Jesus Christ, that Luis Ortiz is from Puerto Rico and that was in 1984, if Ortiz ever went to the olympics it would be well documentated, but he never went.
Dude, we've been over this 1000 Times. That Luis Ortiz is a Small man with ligvter skin from Puerta Rico.
Ffs even if he is 180 years old, there aren't HW queueing up to fight him and he is still the most feared HW out there atm in terms when your talking about risk/reward.
