    I don't think he's ducking Bivol... Never showed himself to be a duck, quite the opposite actually. Maybe he's close to finalizing a fight with The Pimp?

    Look at his last 5 opponents, all of which are far more accomplished and he beat DeGale's ass, someone who was #1 at 168. smh

    I think the argument is that the risk Bivol brought doesn't match the reward, fighting a blue chip contender with little to gain? That said I believe he's chasing a fight with Stevenson and thus it can't be considered a duck.

    Jack the Ripper murdered prostitutes. Stevenson was a pimp. So I guess it's just a natural progression.

    I all seriousness, Stevenson should still be favored in this fight even though he is 40 and has not exactly fought a who's who of top opponents. His left is his great equalizer, though I'm sure Jack will defend against it much better than Fonfara did. Jack does everything well, but is not particularly special in any one area. He can be hit, hurt, and KO'd. So can Adonis, which is why this is a good fight. If I had to bet I'd go with Stevenson. I will root for Jack though.

    If this is true, allowing Bivol to usurp the trinket in favor of taking on
    the legit number 1 or 2 in the division is more than acceptable.
