I would want Lemmy to win by spectacular KO but I know Cotto even in his advanced age can box very well. It could go either way I feel. I don't know how well Cotto's chin is and I don't know how well Lemmy is with by passing jabs to fight on in the inside.

I was surprised to see so many picking Lemieux over Cotto, even this version of him. Gotta go with Cotto by a wide UD.

    Cotto outclasses him.

Lemy also struggles to make weight.

Cotton would be wise to demand a catch weight with a rehydration clause for his own safety. If he goes that path I think he has a real chance to weather the storm of drained bombs from the Mule and outbox him. If he goes on with no catch weight then he faces the real chance of getting KTFO so he best stay on the move from the Mule

Great fight, if Cotto can use his jab well and move, i think he would beat Lemieux.

I'm so tired of all these PPV. This should be on regular HBO. That's the caliber of fights we used to get on the network. Now fighters want so much money they have no choice but to go with PPV.

I think Cotto has a good chance at outboxing lemule and winning if he stayed disciplined, but I think the size will be too much for Cotto at the end of the day. Good fight to go out on though!

That's an impressive name and a tough challenge to go out on...with Cotto's career level of comp, he'd have a free pass from me to take on a much easier fight for his finale.

I'd be very interested to see the weight. Lemieux struggles to make 160 these days. If he pulls him down to 157, I favor Cotto.

Lemmy already said a couple of times that he wouldn't go lower as 160 for Cotto or Canelo, because he can't make that weight safely anyway as 160 is already stretching it for him.
157 should surely favor Cotto, because Lemmy might not even make it to the ring without support.

Good fight for Cotto to go out on. Even though I hate the concept of a retirement fight. You're supposed to either retire after you've taken bad losses and realise it won't get better, like Guerrero, or when you're at the top and your head isn't quite in it any longer, like Ward.

Kind of feel for Jacobs if Cotto takes this. Cotto beating Lemieux would deprive Jacobs of a big fight opponent while he waits for the winner of the Canelo-Golovkin rematch.

Interesting if it's at full middle, Lemieux's dead at the weight though if there's a catchweight.
