You replied to that "silly" comment because the hypocrite remark fit you like a glove. If GGG fights in Dec, we all win but I'm guessing he thinks it over and decides his next fight is a come-down and waits till May.
How does it fit me? care to explain? Do you really not get it? Your assertion is that 3G will just want to fight twice a year, correct? Therefore anyone who complains about say, Canelo, is a hypocrite in your eyes, still with me? Hence your 'hypocrite' comment. But you fail to recognize that they want a fight in December. So if that is the case, they are not attempting the 'Two a year' schedule which you assumed they were, and again, calling other hypocrite for supposedly supporting. Good grief...do you really need something this simple spelled out for you?
Your clearly overthinking this and are quickly approaching butthurt territory. Relax Chief, it's only a boxing forum.
Relax? Just asking you what you meant. Besides, I clearly pointed out your flaw, so chill with the butthurt replies. No need to go there.
Good for Canelo. He's a big enough star that he doesn't have to work so often to establish himself as a draw, and a good rest after a fight is what you need for recovery. The man has kids. He wants to be able to speak to them and his grandkids when they're older and he's no longer a fighter. BTW, has anyone listened to how Shane Mosley sounds nowadays? So sad.
Schlurp. You've not addressed anything here. Deflect and deny - the classic Canelover BS scorecard defence.
Fishnets and co. are going to watch the next Golovkin fight or 2 before deciding whether or not they want to throw Canelo in with him again.
That works out beautifully #allofthebelts Is GGG going to risk losing his big money fight to an awkward prime Southpaw that has legitimate skills and the last real belt? If anything @ GGGs advanced age taking an 8 month vacation will be a negative. He will find it much harder to cut back down after being inactive and he might get rusty. GGG needs a warm up fight and it might as well be for #allofthebelts
So is Golovkin going ahead with something before May? I would hate to see him wait around for Cucknelo only to get passed over for the next May date.
It's not "BS" at not the kind you are referring to, it's BUSINESS. Oscar and co. definitely strategically avoided the Golovkin fight for a reason, it wasn't worth it 2-3 years ago for Canelo to step in with an unknown(to casuals) who presented such as risk. Big promoters factor in risk-reward, to suggest otherwise is pure lunacy. Finally getting the courage when Golovkin a 35 year old boxer-puncher began to show some signs of decline.. Coincidence? Maybe... But I choose to believe it was timed with that reasoning playing a major role.
