The Ring at one point had Adrien Broner on their top 10 P4P list. No one should take any of their post-Nigel Collins rankings the least bit seriously.

It's also another case of the #1 p4p retiring but as said by many people. P4p lists aren't really credible now days.

Its illogical, since GGG never fought outside 160!

A logical compromise at GBP Ring think tank would have been, Canelo #1 P4P (don't agree, but can be sold) based on being a Welter, Jr Middle who survived the onslaught of GGG. GGG being the alpha male of 160, because no one can dislodge him. Canelo at #1 or #2 P4P would have been hard to sell, so the individual who insisted on this, was going off the good intent of rewarding GGG without hurting Canelo insular logic (substance abuse is a serious problem, surrounded by fake friends/enablers...they told him yeah great idea & he nodded, before walking back to his room -celebrating the draw, its all under control- he thought to himself)

Its very difficult for writers to argue with those who pay them, they only have a small room to voice their own opinion, it gets worse when a writer is hired by someone who has a substance abuse problem....He has to choose between getting fired or looking the other way...

This is going to make some certain people even more insecure than they already are :number_one::pancarta:

Paying tribute to Lumpini is very respectful, but doesn't help the P4P rating. Hopefully he was in the high altitude parts so he gets some conditioning out of it

Didn't expect that to happen, because that basically means that GBP Magazine rates his fight against Canelo as a win.
Don't think ol' fishnets is happy about that. Heads are gonna roll.

Some serious ?unintended? trolling in GBP

This also means Canelo had a draw with the #1 P4P fighter

Its all acceptable, except GGG not being #1 at 160, that is illogical! No matter how we view it

Be the devil advocate & convince him to publish this instead

    #1 P4P Crawford
    #2 P4P Canelo
    #3 P4P GGG

    #1 @ 160 GGG
    #2 @ 160 Canelo

A good version of rating that favors Canelo, without crossing the logic barrier. (they can discredit Loma/Rigo in a featured article based on few number of fights...etc), but Crawford has to be above Canelo because he did the P4P thing at its best, 130, 135 & 140 Undisputed nothing less.

GGG #1 P4P is not far-fetched, although Crawford #1 seems better since its P4P & Crwaford went Undisputed at 140

The red flag is Canelo being #1 at 160, that is like saying DPRK is now the #1 military power on the planet...Based on US inaction

Only reason GGG is not undisputed is because Saunders has been ducking him.
