whats your thoughts on kell brook and where he goes next.to me Eddie Hearn has ruined the guys career by putting him in with golovkin.lets face facts he was never going to win and all that's resulted in the fight is that now kell brook has been damaged big style by golovkin that he may never fight again.onc your eye sockets are damaged there's not much yo can do.shame because I wanted brook to beat Khan..

    I'm a huge Brook fan.

He needs a couple of tune-up fights at 154 and to regain some confidence and then we can gauge from that where he goes next.

Right now we don't know if he will ever be able to fight again with the same level of confidence knowing his sight could be at risk everytime he steps into the ring.

He was majestic vs Golovkin before the eye injury, he won rounds more convincingly vs him than Canelo and Jacobs did.

With normal eye sockets he beat both GGG and Spence.

Blame Brook and his team, eddie wanted Eubank Jr v Golvokin but then we know what happened and kell just wanted to prove he had balls and wanted to go one better after seeing khan against Canelo. It's the story of Kell's career,It seems as if Khan was always his dream fight and made stupid decisions to get it.Even after golvokin,Hearn told him to move to 154 and he made another career ending move by trying to prove he wasnt scared of anyone and instead of having a warm up fight,it led him to the path of Spence and we know what happened. It was all so avoidable,i believe if he hadnt faced GGG and faced Spence then as it was his mandatory,he would have won.If he had had a warm up fight after GGG,then faced spence i still think he would have won on points.

My thoughts are that i hope he comes back, he claimed after the surgery on the 1st eye the socket was stronger than it was before. Hopefully they can say the same thing now about the 2nd eye socket. That definatly shook him in the Spence fight he was doing fine up to that point.

If all is well and Brook can put that whole thing behind him to the point he wouldnt need to worry about it i think he can stand tall in the 154 division cuz he is a class act, a top level Boxer. Just a shame that 154 is a bit of a weak division. Or, after suffering from 2 serious facial injuries in 2 fights maybe he is now mentally scarred and it will ruin his Boxing.

It certainly happens, look at David Price, he knows he has a china chin and it never leaves his mind you can see how he has changed how he fights and to be honest the more he worries about getting tagged the more he freezes, stiffens up and in the end it actually makes him easier to hit. You can get through and have a good career with a weak chin but Price is mentally scarred and its ruined him.

I think if he gets fit and his eye sockets are okay then he can beat someone like Hurd who i believe is gonna lose to Austin Trout.

I think Andrade, Lara, Trout, and Jermell Charlo may be too much for Brook.

I think Hurd is the bigger guy but his boxing ability isn't particularly great and he can be out boxed and his footwork is mediocre. It took him more rounds to put away Jo Jo Dan than it took Brook. It doesn't particularly mean anything but i feel Brook is the better boxer than Hurd.

He looked sloppy against Spence. He was pushing his punches instead of snapping them. I think a properly tuned Brook can still do some damage at 154. Hell, I'd give him a shot at beating Thurman with his nice jab. He should take 1 or 2 tune ups first.

Eddie and Brook had been playing with the idea of fighting GGG months before even Eubank-GGG was a real option.

He paid a big price chasing that paper. At the end of the day, I don't think Brook is 100% fully dedicated to boxing like most if not all elites.

154 isn't a week division. It's loaded with talent with little profile. IE, high risk fights for little cash

What's with all the hate for Eddie Hearn?! He didn't even suggest the GGG fight too Brook, Brook learnt that Eubank Jr was delaying/missed the deadline. He then suggested the move to 154, was even public about it, but it's his fault as he was stopped by Spence?
We crave for promotors to bring us the best fights, not do any ducking or whitholding of great fights. Hearn let Brook what he wanted, Brook is fighting at the end of the day.

Why do people give Hearn credit for telling to move up to 154 and duck Spence.

154 title holders are much better than Brook and would have broken his face like Spence.

The only way he gets a strap is a vacated title or fighting blokes who have just fought for one

Exactly,it's not that were trying to present Hearn as the hero,Brook and his Team,Esp,Ingle and his dad look like the type of people who would have inflated his ego to think moving up two weight classes and fighting the most feared man in boxing would do him well.Kell kept saying pre Spence buildup,"i have gone in with golvokin who no one wanted to face".Their is a reason why KELL,because he leaves damage to a fighter which can be unrepairable,Monroe Jr,Brook.Even Canelo lost to A more slower, older GGG to the one he faced and Canelo is one of the best p4p in Boxing.

This. His skill set never improved after he beat Porter, which is a shame because he had a lot of potential at the time. However, after the back to back beatings he suffered from both GGG and Spence he's damaged goods.

He should fight 1-2 easy fights and then fight Khan and call it a career.

Because Anyone with any logical sense knew it would be tough for him to come from 154 to 148.Look who the Opponent was,Errol Spence,a man who gave Mayweather a black eye, knocked out algeri something pacman and khan couldnt do.The funny thing was though, because of how good a BOXER kell is,not a BRAWLER like froch for example,he had a brilliant chance of beating Spence which would have done his credentials very well and undone the damage from the GGG fight. He didnt listen to the advice TWICE and has paid the price.Hearns advice was in the best intrests of looking after kell,he has had him for a long time and im sure theirs a strong relationship their.
