There is a Tweet right here in this thread that the substances he popped for are found in his blood pressure medication that is prescribed by his doctor. WBC and VADA jumped the gun tweeting about a failed test, the fight is still on.

What are the odds, its the #2 most popular banned masking agent in sports history!

This was predicted from the very start when rumors emerged about this fight.
VADA is Wilder's ticket to greatness.

So, if there will be a unification fight in the near future, what do you guys think the chances are Joshua pops next?

Yeah but he will still want credit for signing up to fight a tough opponent no wilder you get credit when you fight and beat a tough opponent not just signing up and getting the powers that be to test em harder than usual.

Lets not single-out the Nigerian Anabolic body-builder

99.99% of Elite Athletes use some form of PED, guys at Anthony Joshua level have great handlers that will make sure they never fail a simple drug test!

I knew something funny would happen it always does when Wilder has to fight a live body even a 48 year old one.
Wilder is on record as saying if he pops dirty no fight. So fight is off. Losterin is used for diabetes and blood pressure given Ortiz's age I'm not surprised he takes it, however it is also a known masking agent I believe, so fight will def be off. Can't duck Povetkin for .00000001 of over the counter meldonium and then fight Ortiz who pops for a known masking agent.
    Very strange.
I hope Wilder doesn't bring in some second rate opponent now and give them another short camp.
    What a joke. As expected

Well if the dude is 48 like has been claimed, he could very well need the stuff. So you think he gets it prescribed by his doc to use to cover up continued PED use?

All elite boxers use some form of PED, but low-IQ King Kong must be doing things on his own, his handlers can't be that naive. Lots of easy ways to make sure their boxers never fail a drug test...

OMG! This blood pressure medication is like taking A WEAPON into the boxing ring!

It's like taking a knife ... omg ... Wilder can't fight these old people gangsters on medication ... omg.

Wilder should fight Tony Thompson instead, the dude is only 45 and in his prime.

He should fight Monte Barrett! Another prime scalp for Wilder's resume.

Either way it's banned. Wilder takes the fight he looks like a hypocrite for what he has been saying lately and it becomes irrefutable that he clearly ducked Povetkin. Basicallyvto save face he has to cancel the bout now, which was probably his team's plan all along. Time to dust off Briggs or Frans Botha with a 3 week camp. Bomb squad.

I know there's not much doubt that Joshua's using, but what I mean is that they won't get caught until they sign a fight against Wilder. Then all bets are off it seems.

This sounds more viable. Frans Botha would be a credible opponent. But he doesn't get the use of his mobility scooter, that would be unfair to Wilder ....

Anthony Joshua handlers are on the same level as Deontay Wilder handlers, so when the fight is signed, its a done deal, Anthony Joshua will never fail a drug test...unless he turns against his handlers & becomes a renegade
