Golovkin, Alvarez are top 10 pound for pound boxers Charlo, Andrade both have real potential to be top 10 p4p I wouldn't write Jacobs off against anyone in the division and Saunders and Derevyanchenko are both solid fighters. I don't know any current division that is stronger than this, apart from welterweight. One could also mention super flyweight or light heavyweight, but I would say that MW is now stronger than these two. Gonzalez seems to be done and Ward retired. Yet the morons and haters posted numerous times that "160 is bumland" and Golovkin should move up. Move up because SMW is ridden with talent? Nah, that is clearly not the case. They wanted GGG to move up because naturally bigger opponents simply have better chance to beat him, they are desperate to see GGG lose. The MW division is very good, and we will see cracking fights in the near future.
The younger talents have improved, the best of 154 (sans Lara) have moved up, GGG is still great. Lemieux and Jacobs are still dangerous. A couple P4P talents, some pure power punchers, and some skilled boxers/boxer punchers....What's not to love? Just keep getting the fights made!
I chose light heavy, but looking at your post I forgot whos coming through and who's current. Yeah its middle with light heavy behind. I can see the matches getting made at 160 more than 175 easier also !
