He would retire with one of the worst resume of any Heavyweight champion.

His ticket to face Joshua? He was going to beat up Ortiz for fun. The WBC belt is his ticket to fight Joshua.

If Wilder was so easy to beat, why are these guy taking PEDs to fight him? Why can't they have a clean camp? Why is that so hard to ask of them?

His resume is better than most heavyweights over the last century. Name another heavyweight who won 38 straight, won the WBC title AND made five successful title defenses in a row? Any ahead of him are in the Hall of Fame (or headed there).

why are all these young guys wanting to retire so soon. They have to fight for years and years to be thought of as a hall of fame or great fighter.

Povetkin won on walkover to win gold medal. Povetkin won a vacant WBA "interim" belt. He never beat any reigning champ to win anything. And he's two-time drug cheat. Povetkin is a joke.

US Networks have told him he can't build up a potential fight vs. AJ by facing a bunch of Boxrec #50 busdrivers. Ortiz was the ticket!

What about the other potential explanation: Wilder is handpicking guys with a history of PED abuse in order to handpick his opposition and argue he had no other choice because "all these ranked top 20 guys are on PEDs".

Wilder is not the only WBC belt holder on the planet. Why is he the only one with so many awkward positive PED hits while we don't see this in other weight classes?

Well, he'd have beaten THREE RING ranked contenders, but the other two took Performance Enhancing Drugs while training to fight him and the fights got called by the WBC.

Again, if he sucks so bad, why are all these RING contenders taking PEDs in order to face him?

Enough already. I used to rag on Wilder too. But the fact is if THEY don't cheat ... the fights happen. That's the bottom line.

I'm as sick of Wilder's weak comp as anyone else. But lets not forget WHO effed up here, it was Ortiz. Wilder has all the right to seek a new opponent, should the drug test ruling stand.

LOL. His 5 title defenses have been against laughable opposition not a single one was a top 10 heavyweight. Matter of fact in 38 fights he has only fought one top 10 opponent.
