Wilder has had enough, contemplating retirement from boxing

    He hasn't been fighting the top contenders in the division because the top two that he signed to fight decided they needed PEDs ... and they got caught ... and the fights were called.

    Again, ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS NOT TAKE PEDS. Then Wilder would have wins over Povetkin and Ortiz on his resume, too.

    But they took PEDS instead, because they felt they would've lost if they didn't take them.

    Povetkin and Ortiz would be on his list of title defenses IF THEY HADN'T TAKEN PEDs.

    All they had to do WAS NOT TAKE THEM. That's it.

    Look at it like this add Povetkin and Ortiz to Wilders resume and there is no better resume in the division.

    Fact not Fiction

    A couple of marquee wins would make all the difference.

    Funny how the crowd here trash Wilder and call GGG a superhero. There isn't much difference.

    I only give GGG a bit of grief because his fans spew hate about every other fighter and call him a God.

    No. You keep leaving out the two top 10 opponents decided to take PEDS before facing Wilder and the fights were called as a result of their cheating.

    What's harder is finding a heavyweight champion who was so feared by Ring top 10 opponents that TWO decided to knowingly cheat rather than face him clean. They felt less shame in being caught then the prospect of facing him clean and getting destroyed.

    I don't know how that's a negative on the champion they were afraid to fight clean ...

    They really would. No doubt about that. If he could make a couple of fights like that, for sure.

    Really, of course, he should have six fights like that - or four at least.

    But i'll accept for the purposes of argument that he tried really hard to make six such fights and they all fell through.

    Claims still shouldn't be made about his record that are not true. That are fantasy. That are bull****. His resume is awful, for a strapholder, really really bad. That's fact.

    Are you using resume in a wider sense than is normal? So adding "five defences" or "unbeaten" stuff like that to his resume? I'm not saying it's wrong, i'm just making sure that I understand. You're not using it in the usual way, to mean win resume?

    Yes, I was at that card. He was the worst fighter in the family but he was the only one that went pro, they got the result right he got he got whipped in the first round came out trying to Bob and weave like was Tyson I recall him winning some matches after this like at a bingo hall absolute worst of the worst local tomato cans

    Would have could have should have. Means nothing. The fact is Wilder has had 5 optional fights where he fought absolutely awful handpicked opposition. The guy has had 5 optional fights and didn’t fight a single top 10 Heavyweight. Why?
