No, SOB will find someone he can cheat, buy the referee, judges, and boxing commission, punch him in the testicles and Bob Bennett and Weeks will approve!
why would he comeback when the scene is not hot, when he has made a career out of fighting the hottest of the division? all the evidence says you post lie.
I doubt it. Don't forget that his holy trinity of idols who he's borrowed a lot from and has been heavily influenced by both in the ring stylistically and out of it regarding how he handles his career are Floyd, B-Hop and Roy. He's often referenced them in the past and paid homage to them and he openly admits he's been influenced by them a great deal. And I've heard him draw parallels between his career and theirs on numerous occasions before too, saying things along the lines of ''This is what happened to Floyd too'' ''Bernard did this'' ''Roy went through this as well'' 175 is on fire right now just like 147 was when Floyd decided to 'retire'
Well I do give him credit for cleaning out 168. And he did fight the best at 175 in Kovalev. But he doesnt defend his 175 crown against the young crops, like mayweather didn't defend his 147 title against the like of margarito, Williams, cotto, pac. Even after his comeback and a big win after Canelo, mayweather didn't give a chance to Thurman, Crawford, spence, brook etc.
He's not coming back. Even if his body weren't broken down, it's financially impossible to motivate him because the money isn't there. Roc had to spend more on his purses alone than the revenue the Kovalev fights generated. They took an even larger bath in the rematch: they had to guarantee him more for the rematch, which ultimately did considerably LESS business. No other promoter will pony up that kind of cash because rational operators make it a point to watch the budget, and Andre isn't going to take a pay cut. Simple as that.
I hope he comes back but I don't think he's big enough for cruiserweight and in lhw there's no one interesting left.
Ward should be content with what he has achieved and stay retired. He hasn't lost a fight since he was 12 years old and will likely be a first ballot hall of famer. Great career and time to move onto life without the gloves on.
Of course he'll be back, his "retirement" will create a demand for him and................err....never mind, he's not coming back.
Yep he worships the ground they walk on and attempts to mimic their paths, this is why he was so hurt when Floyd called him out on his initial refusal to rematch Kovalev. Had Floyd approved of his cowardice, we wouldn't have seen Kovalev - Ward 2
You might be right about that. It was a get in 'n get out mission, stack the deck so the playing field is as uneven as possible, and win by any means necessary, which of course is a lot easy to do if the deck is stacked that heavily in your favour. No to neutral judges?! WTF?! From a supposed ''Devout Christian?! Un-*******-believable
