I'm looking for examples of fights where round after round one guy is dominating (likely the favored "name" fighter) and it's almost boring or seems non-competitive, then out of nowhere the guy getting hopelessly dominated miraculously turns the tide somehow. Either with one big punch that hurt the guy who was dominating, or the fighter changes his strategy or something. I'm talking about about a fight that went from being completely one-sided round after round and almost boring to the point where you're sure the guy losing has zero chance, then all of a sudden something happens and it becomes very exciting and close.

I got to thinking about this while watching the Sor Rungvisai Chocolatito undercard fight between Inoue and Nieves. After about 4 or 5 rounds, the commentators were acting like it was a foregone conclusion that Inoue was gonna win, and in the 6th round they were pretty much calling for the fight to be stopped, even though Nieves was still fighting intelligently, he was taking some punches.

We've all seen this situation before in a fight where one guy doesn't seem to have much chance, but the fight goes on and on when maybe the commentators think it should be stopped, or you might feel like there's no point of it continuing. I'm really looking for the most extreme examples of this type of thing in recent history, preferably any that you remember in the last 10-15 years.

Hosea Burton vs Frank Buglioni, Burton won most of the rounds and was pressing the action then got caught and KO'd in the 12th round.

    Another good call.

Castro is one of my favourite fighters to watch.

Not great, just solid and rugged.

Canelo vs Golovkin, Canelo was beating Golovkin for the first 2 rounds, and then the rest of the match Canelo was getting slapped around like a cheap Thai Hooker.

Jirov and Moorer comes to mind, but that's mostly from memory. I remember thinking Moorer came out of nowhere to win it.

The fight in the movie ‘The Fighter’ when Micky Ward is in his shell getting a boxing lesson from Alfonso Sanchez.

A recent one I can think of was the fight between Robbie Davies Jn vs Syrowatka.
