Why don't you tell us what part of that, that you find so hilarious?

Because right now a good man is dead because some thug thought it was a good idea to take a terminally ill man through a hellish futile court battle that he had no grounds for.

3g is a solid ko artist, but he hasnt moved from MW once his entire career for anyone, nevermind ward. "nothing" is exactly what would have happened, because there is ZERO evidence that it would from 3G.

Ward has moved, there is 100% evidence he would move.

Actually Beterbiev would beat him to a pulp even worse than Golovkin. Nevermind that Beterbiev looks like a stone sculpture and barely makes LHW ... he likes to fight on the inside which is Ward's strength whereas GGG would probably just box from the outside. Bad style matchup for Ward and a likely fight considering they are the same division.

you know what I don't blame him one bit for retiring if his heart isn't it in it anymore. Because in that case he won't take training as seriously and has a bigger chance of losing. And he is already a multi millionaire and getting old in boxing years but still young so might as well step away with good health instead of pushing the limits. Never was a big fan of his though so I'm not upset he retired or anything

Haha, most would like to think and wish.

Pretty sure P4P kings are never forgotten. Especially to be one of so few to retire from that consensus position. And then to be one of so few in boxing history to retire an undefeated champion.

He defeated great fighters with some of the largest fanbases in the sport in Kovalev, Froch, and Kessler. Calzaghe and Golovkin fanboys talk negative about him more than they talk anything about any other fighter.

He will not be forgotten. For somebody so many like to claim has no fanbase or drawing power, he sure does rile up the predictable goons on boxing forums... over and over and over.

Believe me he will soon go down into obscurity where only the die hard Ward apologists will vaguely remember what he did.

When people begin to look back on his career with a sober mind, they will see with clarity that the man was a charlatan of the highest degree.

Anyone would struggle to name memorable fights he took part in. I can only recall the kovalev fight and that was solely down to Kovalev's style and Ward's vulnerability.

The fights with Biko, Froch and Kessler were spoil fests and no one will wish to re-watch such ugly showings.

Anybody who was a fan of boxing from 2009-2017 will know exactly who Andre Ward is, what he did, and who he beat. Every single boxing fan during that time.

A whole bunch of people said the same about Muhammad Ali being a tremendous fouler and spoiler, but that didn't stop him from decades later still being the most talked about. Many people have only watched his fight with Foreman and some of the Frazier rivalry. Most even hardcore fans don't rewatch an old, retired fighters' entire career. The Froch fight was not a "spoil fest," it was a largely one handed boxing fest. The Kovalev fights will be cited and rewatched for many many years to come. People like you will keep his legacy intact.

You are wishfully thinking for what you want to see.

People remember Ali because of his mouth and his controversial antics outside of the ring. If scrutiny were to be laid outside his front door, you'd realise his career was another farce marred with match fixing, cheating, and having officials on board to ensure things were carefully crafted in his favor. His name needs to be denounced from the HOF let alone being called the greatest of all time!

Ward doesn't have the fortune of having an iconic image outside the ring which cements pictures in the minds of the many.

Even today casuals do not know who Ward is. He is a complete non entity and I'm sure he walks the streets freely without needing any bodyguards or with any concern with being rushed by hordes of fans wanting to get a picture or autograph.

I don´t think his history is written yet. He is coming back. This is just a way to get more media publicity. Don´t be surprised if after 1,5-2,5 Wada-free-years he comes back as a CW and with 15-20 pounds more muscle.
