Take out the top 4-6 names from most modern fighters resume and there's not a whole hell of a lot left outside of the longevity freaks lol

In two years Loma will have one of the best resumes in the history of the sport. Wins over Rigo, Garcia and a few others will propel him up the latter.

For Vasyl to reach a 19.0 rating, he has to maintain a steady diet of:
    * Undefeated fighters (highly recommended)
    * Minimum of 19-1 for guys with a lone loss
    * Minimum of 38-2 for guys with two losses
    * Minimum of 57-3 for guys with three losses

The task of is even harder for current champions who want to catch up to Vasyl, their only option is to beat as much undefeated fighters as possible. Which is a much harder than munching on broken-down fighters already conditioned to lose

I believe these #'s are softened up way too much.
Loma may had beaten a few fighters with somewhat impressive records, but his entire resume is very pathetically weak. He's never beaten a true B level fighter, the only B level fighter he fought he somehow drew with the old as **** salido.

Rest if his entire resume is filled with D and C levelers

Incredible! We are witnessing history in the making.
Truly a level above anyone in the sport today.

Wladimir ranking is low compared to Vasyl, because as a prospect he faced much more guys with lots of losses

An estimate from looking at Wlad record puts him at 4.0

Holyfield & Ali have the career highest opposition ratio at Heavyweight (closer to 6.0)

With opposition ratio list, its impossible for a non-elite champion to be on the top of the list.

In Heavyweight Ali & Holyfield are on the top, in every division you run the numbers & the top spot is strictly reserved for an ATG, this kind of lists are Elite members only...No average one trick pony belt-holder can be found in the top of any division ranking...

P4P Vasyl is on Top for an obvious reason, he didn't feast on the usual suspects as other prospects do...

    Agreed 100%.

That post got me thinking though....there should be a thread of resume analysis AFTER removing the top few names to really dig into resume depth. I think there'd be some interesting results.

Not on this forum it won't.

Comparing him to these guys will just get claims that he's a ducking, running slapper with a carefully constructed resume that is pretty overrated. That is, if you listen and value the fools on this forum.

When lomachenkos career is over we won't be comparing him with fighters from his generation.
