Ortiz was caught using two diuretics. The names of the drugs are all over the papers, and you can easily research them. They are both diuretics.

 

They're front line treatment for hypertension. The beta blocker, metaprolol, would be added if those dodn't work well enough. If he were using them as masking agents, why would he also be using a bet blocker which hurts athletuc performance and isn't a diuretic?

HCTZ includes a diuretic that has been explicitly banned for its use as a masking agent. No way around that. I don't really care about PED use, but it's obvious what he was doing.

If his team knew what they were doing, they would've gotten an exemption for it and skipped the beta blcoker. Not failed a test and then posted the prescriptons and a video of the doctor justifying its use. It's Occam's Razor.

Yes that picture does seem to show he had a prescription for a beta blocker.

I have no idea how Luis is even allowed to fight using those drugs. He is not fit to fight.

 

I do love how Wilder can't win at this point. Literally anything he says or does gets roasted and he only has himself to blame.
