    That was exciting but
Nah - its all about levels lads (CST and Buttsy) - Jason Quigley is just better in too many ways, as for Lemieux he would murder Spike, come on IB.
Great lad Spike etc -I know him well - we live close by each other actually - but I have to be realistic....

CST - Jason Quigley boxed very well considering how serious his hand was hurt v Tapia. Youre being too hard on JQ!

That's untrue, Rosado said he had never even heard of Spike O'Sullivan, let alone been approached with the fight or offered a contract.

Spike really needs to step it up, his comp level since Eubank has been embarrassing.

Yeah right, if he was chasing the Saunders fight I find it hard to believe he hasn't heard of Spike.

He probably thought the money wasn't good enough

Picking on Clark at this stage of his career for a cheap "name" victory just seems tacky.

Spike burst both his ear drums against Jr and was getting headaches for months after the fight, not surprised he took time to come back

Indeed. I support him not least because he was not well treated at times as an amateur. He had a case for being robbed in several decisions as a senior domestic amateur. Disillusionment with the amateur set up was prob one of the reasons he went pro.

Initially due to fight a Puerto Rican Hector Rivera, but that fight was shelved due to the situation there. Clark a late replacement.

Ray is a lovely guy actually, chat to him next time he's over (probably early next year, his team want a Mass. title fight with 7-3 Matt Doherty of Salem, who also has MMA and BKB experience)

Okay that's a horse of a different color then.

Still, for Cold Blooded's own good I wish he wasn't putting himself out there and trading on his erstwhile semi-celebrity in the sport by taking on young hungry welterweight 16 years past his best and punching two divisions higher than his lightweight natural comfort zone. All too common a sight, talented individuals reduced to essentially heavy bags with legs and whoring out their remaining dignity for discount prices to elevate prospects they would've mopped the floor with (or been p4p better than at least, in cases where they wouldn't have been close in weight) in their primes.

I suppose it really isn't Moylette's fault that Clark is still banging on.

Maybe I was being a little harsh, but I'm a fan of Spike's and his in ring style. So, I agree to an extent, Quigley should win in a similar fashion to Saunders, but if Spike connects, you never know, Jason did seem a little trouble by some of the shots De La Rosa and Tapia landed, and I'm pretty sure Spike packs a little more pop than both of them, even CEJ got rocked occasionally whenever Spike landed clean. So there's a slight possibility there could be an upset, but not a huge one.

As far as the Lemieux fight, I agree, I think David tears right through Spike like a hot knife through butter.
