    I am not a big fan of the wee weights but I liked the last super fly card HBO did except for Max verbally fellating S.O.B Ward all night long.

    To add my 2 cents n Yafai, he has a good chin, he beat El Nica as impressively as Cuadras, he performed very well against Murunaka, and dealt with the non stop pressure of both fighters impressively, and he packs enough wallop to keep his opponents cautious from walking onto something big. He's very accurate, has a good jab, lands from decent angles, and will be a tough test for almost anyone near the top of the division, he may not be elite level yet, but he's pretty close. I'd be rooting for Roman, but I don't think he has it in him and I think Sor Rungviasi has genuinely ruined him as a fighter, pre-Cuadras/SSR beatings, I'd cautiously pick Gonzalez to beat him, this version I think loses by late KO, or UD.

    Gonzalez should be taking on a softer touch if he's going to continue. He's likely damaged goods at this point. Yafai isn't a puncher, so Chocolatito may manage to pull it off, and we can't be certain how damaged he is. But I suspect he'll be slower and gunshy, and his head won't be in it, and Yafai takes him out. Like RJ losing to Glen Johnson after Tarver.

    How about your boy Cuadras likely taking another L? Shouldn't he reestablish himself with a win against a top contender first? He could've been a dominant champ in a slightly lesser division, but he's just not quite good enough to edge these p4p talents.

    I addressed that earlier in my first post, I fully expect Cuadras to lose, and by KO, but I'm at peace with that, because I love Inoue equally. So I rather one of my other boys take out Cuadras than someone else.:lol: But I agree, he needs a light touch as well, like a Kono, Warren, Arroyo or Casimero type.

    Oh, I see Inoue is leaning towards Ancajas. Now hard to see who Cuadras fights, whether it's an A+ or A- opponenent.

    It would have made no sense for Cuadras to go from a draining hard fought defeat against Estrada straight into a matchup against the high flying Inoue who may well already be the best fighter in the division.

    I still haven't seen nearly as much of Yafai as the rest of the major names at super fly, but I'm cautious to dole out too much credit for a win over Concepción since his recent move up to 115lbs. He squeaked by Kono, iced the chinny LDLR, and beat his even more shot rival Tyson Márquez to avenge his earlier KO losses down at their mutual peak weight, but otherwise he does nothing but lose at the weight. Right after Yafai outpointed him so did obscure upstart Irán “Magnífico" Díaz (coming off his biggest previous step up by far, the aforementioned war-ravaged Márquez...although many that have seen the bouts have complained that despite having clearly each lost a step Tyson & El Nica both got robbed against Díaz. I'm not sure why promoters in Mexico would invest so heavily in an 11-2-2 guy to start bending over backwards to accommodate his career advancement, but who the hell can say with this sport. Maybe he's got connections with the cartels or something...)

    I mean he still probably has enough leveraging power to make his pick of the litter from the rest of those leftover: Rodríguez, Casimero, Viloria, Kono, etc.

    Just wouldn't be room for it on the big HBO card if they already have Choc vs. Kal and Inoue vs. Ancajaus plus any combination of Estrada or Wangek versus anyone else or each other. It would have to be made a quadruple-header to squeeze Cuadras into the broadcast (that or leave him off TV, or part of a streamed undercard or something...but ultimately it would probably serve him better to just headline or co-main on a separate, if less blockbuster card)
