Some of the swagger that existed pre-Smith is back. The guy may not be a world class fighter but he's damn solid and there are plenty of fights for him at the British-European Level. Hell, he'd have a great shot at beating Zeuge who TECHNICALLY holds a version of the world title. Cheers to Fielding for rebuilding his career after such a devastating defeat - did so against some high-risk low-reward type of operators as well. All hail the younger brother of Jason Varitek.
Ehhh... There's not really any evidence that De Carolis is better than Rebrasse or Ryder and Fielding is a lot better than the heavy bag known as Paul Smith.
Debatable. Those were both close fights... Based on what does Smith beat Fielding? Fielding would be his best win by a considerable margin, who the hell has "human heavy bag" Paul Smith beaten that's any good?
Smiths resume is poor even for a British level fighter - Who has he actually BEATEN? Tony Dodson and then Tony Quigley?
Given how laboured Di Carolis looked against Polyakov (the second Zeuge fight appeared to have taken something out of him) I think Fielding would beat DI Carolis by comfortable (8-4) UD, if it ever happens.
