Parker vs Browne: Team Parker trying to make it happen!

2 undefeated Heavyweights - 24-0 vs 25-0 .. former WBA champ vs current WBO Champ .. 1' between them in height .. statistically both big punchers .. Australia vs New Zealand. Parker has age & activity on his side and has faced tougher opponents - Browne's size (weight) and raw power gives him an advantage in what would be an explosive heavyweight battle if the fight can be made ..

If it happens, Browne stops him in seven.

Not a bad fight. Distinct lack of mobility/hand-speed definitely make this match up easier for Parker in a stylistic sense than Fury or Ruiz, but it's a decent fight nonetheless and an undefeated former regular champ would be another solid name on Parker's growing resume. Expect Parker to win, probably with a mid-late stoppage while comfortably up on the cards but his defence is still quite open so one big right hand from Browne could definitely make this interesting.

Hope it gets finalised, bring on the Bledisloe Punch Up.

Hope people don't start yapping about ducking Dillian Whyte, Whyte is a bit overhyped around these ways.

Browne vs Whyte is a 50/50, but Parker beats both

Think Browne is tough enough to go the distance, but his sluggishness will mean he should get nailed plenty.

Parker should try to get the Stoppage, there is a little truth to his dwindling marketability, he needs to make a statement.

Oh this would be a nice fight for Parker, but how is it possible when Browne is not WBO ranked?

I dont think Lucas Browne has the fitness to keep up with probably the most athletic looking opponent he has ever faced.

I want to see this fight but still cant forget that time Browne told Parker to **** off when Parker asked him earlier. I hate that attitude and now it looks like Parker is going to forgive him for that.

    Bit surprised at this news.

Wouldn't have thought of Browne as a preferred opponent.

Sure he's crude, but he was good enough to go to Chechnya & win.

Not a fan of putting young talent in with heavy punchers like him.

I thought the story was Parker had outgrown fighting in NZ?

Presumably that's where this fight would be held if it goes ahead.

A fight is being set for Browne in November. If he wins that I think you will find he suddenly bobs up inside the WBO top 15. He is currently ranked top 15 somewhere else. I think WBA?

I don't like this fight for Parker but it is likely to be fun to watch.

Parker has to light him up because Browne won't die wondering.
